Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Non issue, the government doesn't have the man power to enforce it anyway. Well, I mean I guess they do if they want to slow down the tax system, OSHA office, or whatever other national weaseling our President wants to do. It should be viewed as a net benefit and help further the divorce from whatever the USA is becoming.

i mean the election before the nazis got in power they were in 9th place. could you imagine the person who got 9th place in the polls becoming president today? do you know how good your marketing would have to be to go from 9th to first place? it would be like if realme smartphones replaced iphones as the most common phone in the next 2 years.

From what I've observed chatting with friends currently working, most companies that are corporate or locally owned, have sort of adopted a don't ask don't tell sort of approach. What they'll do when it comes to tax season is something they are trying to put off. My biggest thing is, how would a company or the government know about vaccination records. Normally, it wouldn't be tracked but to even get the vaccine you gotta hand over information as if you were applying for a job and doing the onboarding process through HR. IMO, it is a breach of medical privacy.

One of our customers is a branch of a big company and their location is just using a simple spreadsheet that isn't even recording the vaccine card info, they said just show us a card and they'll mark you down. I don't know how true this is but there wasn't real guidelines beyond Joepedo saying this is so, so the branch is doing the bare minimum CYA but not really caring, if the person was hooked up to a lie detector they could say "yes, I asked for proof of vaccination and they showed it."

Jill Biden to campaign with McAuliffe on Friday

First lady Jill Biden will stump for Terry McAuliffe (D) in Richmond on Friday, as the former Virginia governor campaigns for a second term.

The first lady's appearance on the campaign trail, announced by the White House on Monday, comes as polls show that McAuliffe and Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin are neck-in-neck less than a month before Election Day.

A poll released last week by Emerson College and Nexstar Media Group found that the race is in dead heat among likely Virginia voters: McAuliffe secured 49 percent support, while Youngkin has 48 percent.

One percent of voters said they are planning to vote for someone else, and 2 percent said they are still undecided.



Additionally, the nonpartisan Cook Political Report moved the race from "lean Democratic" to "toss-up" last month.

In-person early voting kicked off in the state last month. The race marks the first gubernatorial election where in-person early voting and no-excuse mail voting are available to the electorate in Virginia, according to Politico.

Onlookers from inside and outside the beltway are closely watching the off-year gubernatorial race as it marks one of the first times voters will head to the polls in the Biden administration.



Experts say it could serve as a harbinger for next year's midterm elections.

A number of Democratic big-wigs are now making appearances in the commonwealth to stump for McAuliffe, including former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who is slated to hit the campaign trail on Sunday.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) was alongside McAuliffe campaigning in Virginia last month, and President Biden stumped for the former governor in July.

Looking back at Virginia, and McAuliffe just can't seem to win hard enough.

If Youngkin isn't GOPing around with his election integrity rhetoric, I presume it would be in his (team's) interest to keep focus on everywhere DC Dems slink off to, especially with Jill.

Has anyone seen a correlation between areas Jill "campaigned" in for Joe, and how those areas got "fortified?"
