Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I would have laughed my ass off if that was the case but i checked the article and no, that's not why

Apparently it's all about Ransomware, meaning that people in current year +(insert number here) are STILL opening up strange suspicious emails, even after all the fucking training in the world that's been going on for fucking years.

The Ron White line "You Can't Fix Stupid" keeps getting truer every time.
People are very stupid, but tbf some of the phishing emails are pretty decent these days.

I'm shocked such methods still work, usually when tactics are deployed they're only as good as the first time used until the opposition adapts. Are they seriously not even using firewalls to prevent email attacks from infecting the hardware?
Oh sweet summer child….no, some of these companies do not even have MFA on VPNs.

The government runs on Vista. Sort of a joke, but, it kind of isn't as well. Let me just say, XP Support going away caused several headaches.

In addition, it would be wise for our powergrids and other resource suppliers beef up security. Been saying this for years and as far as I know, nothing has been done. It is probably one of our most vulnerable points when it comes to cybersecurity and cyberwarfare.
You may be happy to know that insurance companies for all those industries and more are forcing them to do basic security things. On extremely short timelines.

The pentagon hates free shit. If they aren't overpaying for something, then they aren't using it, and I'd be amazed if Microsoft doesn't have the DoD locked into some 100 year service contract.
Microsoft does not have DoD’s major security software contracts. Probably for things like Office though.

ETA: Yeah, it’s Office and some other random projects - https://blogs.microsoft.com/blog/2021/07/06/microsofts-commitment-to-the-dod-remains-steadfast/

Good God, she even sounds aroused! Listen to her near the end, she's practically salivating! Megalomaniac bitch!
Reminder that, according to that General's testimony to Congress, she literally tried to steal the Nuclear Football from Trump.

A coup. A literal coup attempt. And the only possible reason I can see her wanting it was to false flag Trump with something.

Based for sure, but can Abbott actually do this for private companies? That's how Noem wriggled out of having to actually do something.
Doesn't matter. The Biden Mandate (which he never actually filed, apparently) was just giving corporations a shield to hide behind while they implemented the mandate they wanted to implement anyways. Abbot is just giving Texas companies the same shield to NOT implement one.

Isn't Linux designed all around preventing viruses & trojans from working on a given Linux system? I can't imagine an attack using email as a vector is too terribly sophisticated beyond script kiddie shit.
Late but no. Linux isn’t all about preventing viruses. It’s about having a “free” Unix, which was really expensive when AIX (IBM) was the big Unix. And phishing isn’t about a virus or Trojan, it’s about tricking you into entering your credentials into something that you shouldn’t be entering them into. The shit happens after that.

e: before someone calls me out on it, I forgot Sun, also ignored the *SDs

Yup. The biggest security flaw sits on the chair in front of the screen.

I can see why the media fears the American Taliban, the Talichads do a better job of training compared to our training methods and look more competent.

Seems like as far as working class goes, for Leftists everywhere in the Western World. If you fail the brown paperbag test, you a working class person. White people don't count so piss off mayos, you may be born here in the Americas, but you are not even indigenous to the Americas.

All those injuns still own the land and they do a better job taking care of it, when they arn't drunk or molesting their sisters on the reservations, but that isn't the point.

Meanwhile the European indigenous people must be replaced by the true Europeans, fleeing subhumans from Africa and the Middle East as they are the true Europeans.

And the admins that are too goddamn lazy or stupid to tie all access to HR feeds. Which is also some asshole sitting on the chair, I suppose.
Lazy, stupid, and wanting to maintain their fiefdoms. Those projects do not happen without the HR ladies being involved and they usually enjoy the power they get from controlling the HR systems. If that’s the case, it often takes a C-level exec pushing HR admins before anything is done.

It was never about the working class or any other pretty slogan they slap on their asses for votes.

Leftists have been the wealthy elite for a long time now. They just point to other working class conservatives and call them every terrible thing in the book.

Looking back at Virginia, and McAuliffe just can't seem to win hard enough.

If Youngkin isn't GOPing around with his election integrity rhetoric, I presume it would be in his (team's) interest to keep focus on everywhere DC Dems slink off to, especially with Jill.

Has anyone seen a correlation between areas Jill "campaigned" in for Joe, and how those areas got "fortified?"
Allegedly the Va. Dems are spending a lot of money in places that should be a complete win for them. The GOP is also supposed to be "prepared" for shenanigans, but we'll see.

The Daily Wire also just broke this story today. (link/archive)

Behind a paywall, but Loudoun County Schools in Virginia hid two rapes by a "nonbinary" guy who was allowed in the girls' bathroom. Then they arrested the dad who came to the school board meeting to expose it, because the board was lying to everyone that they had never had an assault in a bathroom. It's one of the few cases the DOJ used as an example for why the FBI needs to watch for "terrorists."

like.

They're evil.

Your first sentence and everything else don’t exactly match. Sorry the HR lady didn’t fuck you.

“Well, I say if it was rape, it was a good rape" is literally real now. All because the rapist was an "enby". I.....just....

Let me explain it slowly for you since you’re a retarded autist.

HR ladies like power. Controlling HR systems gives them power. Allowing IT/Security teams to have integrations into their systems means less perceived control over those systems. Enter C-level exec telling HR ladies “do this now or else” and project magically gets done. It’s a pattern I’ve personally seen at dozens of my clients.

Sorry nobody wants to touch your smegma infected neovag.

I mean, at the end of the day, until we get a real-ass A.I. able to operate all on it's own to control shit, it's always just some asshole sitting on a chair all the way down.

I feel the need to point something out regarding the mandates. While they're being pushed hardest in Blue Strongholds, everyone - including those in them - is fucking sick of them. Sick enough that; even in the crucible that is NYC, the current count of mandate violations actually prosecuted is a walloping ten.

Nobody is fucking enforcing them.

The media has no intention of covering it, but there's a lot of people on the left who have been pushed entirely too far by this shit. More than you'd ever expect, really. A lot of potential people to find common ground with now that the scales are starting to fall from a lot of eyes. I know a lot of people are big on "don't ever allow back in the ones that did you wrong" here, and there is some wisdom in that, but this also is a teachable moment in its own right. Find the right ones.
