Knowing how troons lie, it wouldn't surprise me that Bonnie was passing off someone else's work as his own. It's not like there is evidence that he is the one actually doing the drawing. Until I see a video of Bonnie doing a decent drawing, I don't buy it.

I believe it was mentioned that there is a speedpaint; the key difference with that one is that it's a study, not an original drawing, so it's just him copying a photograph. Studies are miles easier to do than an original drawing because you don't need any of the underlying knowledge that comes from years of practice and learning, all the information you need is provided for you and it's just about rote duplication. There's lots of techniques (using a grid, turning the image upsidedown to focus on value patterns rather than your preconceptions of what you're drawing, etc) to make studies easier and it's one of those things that even total beginner artists can and do practice because it's just about training your observation and attention to detail.

tl;dr it's probably his, because it's a basic copying exercise rather than anything that he had to think for.
