What are you playing right now?

Non-leathal is pretty easy IMO. I completed the whole game without killing anyone in the span of a free weekend on steam.
Yeah so far I'm getting the hang of knocking out everyone without being detected. My first playthrough though was kinda messy because I often got lost and I was still trying to get familiar with how everything works.

Be careful about knocking people out. If you leave them in a place where, say, a horde of rats can eat them or they can die to environmental damage, it still counts against you.

OH. Well shit. I was more concerned with other guards finding them, didn't really think about them rats getting to the knocked out ones. No wonder I still have kill counts even though I mostly knocked guards. Also, I shot Curnow with a sleep dart but Callista's dialogue made it seem that he still died? I mean in my first game I fought every guard in the meeting room but somehow he seemed to have survived.

Yeah, it's a really finicky system and it's really easy to kill people inadvertently. If going for a non-lethal achievement, I would just try to get the undetected one at the same time and never put yourself in a situation where you have to knock people out.

Been playing the Star Wars Battlefront Beta and I can say I will be buying it...

For $15-$25 when it hits key resellers... no way in hell is this worth $60. I mean first off the beta itself isn't helped by being based on battlefields worst mode, objective rush (forget the exact name, but Team A needs to do a thing and team B needs to stop them, which just degenerates into either the line never being broken or spawn camping in pubby matches), instead of the control points mode which isn't available for beta, and of course no space battles for beta. There's an okish game under the hood it seems, but it doens't look all there, but let's be honest, if it wasn't Star Wars I wouldn't even bother.

Really it just made me wonder if I had Planetside 2 updated and ready to play.

On the more rosey side, the Armored Warfare open beta also started (it's basically world of tanks with coldwar to modern era equipment) and it's a blast. The handeling is more on the warthunder side than world of tanks, as in even the big tanks can actually move if they need to, and the different roles are fun. No nations though, all the vehicles are split among 2 Arms Dealers isntead, as you're supposed to be PMCs not actual armies.

I've been playing Undertale quite a bit - as someone who really focuses on character interactions and loves breaking the fourth wall, the game hit all the right sots for me. I was legitimately upset at the idea of harming some of the characters.

Sans. Fucking Sans. It hurt enough on the genocide route to kill his bro, but when he calls you out on actually coming back (i.e. restarting your save) to kill everyone it broke my heart. A character like him is in a lot of pain regardless what ending you chose.

I do love his actual fight though. You can tell he is insanely powerful and that, I think, is really fitting for his character. I feel like he was lazy not due to some inherent fault but a huge dose of ennui.

The game also calls you out if you watch a playthrough of some of the more painful routes you can go rather than playing it yourself. It was definitely worth the 10-odd dollars I sunk into it.

Unfortunately, the fandom seems to be rampant with of all fucking things people with emetophilia (vomiting) fetishes right now which really confuses me since there is absolutely no features of it in the game at all. I imagine if it reaches critical mass it might be worth a thread later.

Super Meat Boy was free on PS+ so I've been playing that. Forgot how horribly frustrating it was *sigh*

Finally picked up Infamous: Second Son as well, seems a bit short thought.

Replaying Xenoblade Chronicles in prep for the release of Chronicles X. The voice acting is as hokey as I remember. Good times.

Oddly far better than the overhyped piece of shit, Unity. Conceptually it was one of the most interesting AC games.

I'm doing a 3-heart shieldless run of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and a battlemage character on Skyrim. Great fun, both of them.

ME3. Playing a non-Sniper Infiltrator with a shotgun and Dominate. Haven't had this much fun in a long time. Dominate/Sabotage to sow discord, force enemies out of cover to get picked off and shotgun-style assassination and melee insta-kills. I like playstyles that eschew cover-based shooting as much as possible and this has been amazing.

Yeah exactly. I don't think they would've taken such a risk on a main-line series title. It feels more akin to a spinoff.

Like in Rogue you kill a protagonist from a previous game, you join with the antagonistic organization of the series, and it makes you question your actions in previous games. Like I started to realize how much the Assassins are well intentioned extremists/terrorists through this game. It was strangely conservative compared to the very liberal previous games.

I'm playing the Battlefront beta and holy crap is it fun. You really feel like you're in some epic Star Wars battle even though it's only 8 v 8. I had to stop or else I won't get my work done today. (stupid work) lol

Only 8v8? Guess old school battles of Battlefront II are long gone then.

OT currently playing some This War of Mine and pepping for a long winter.

Well, It might be more on Hoth. I've only played the Pod Capture mode before I realized I should stop and actually do the stuff I actually get paid for. lol

Edit: Hoth is 20 v 20.

WAAAAAAAAARFRAAAAAAAAAAME

The accursed Mastery Rank 12 yet eludes me, with only 2000 more points to go. *sigh*

But I suppose part of the endgame fun is having enough resources to surprise yourself with finding what lesser known weapons works.

Tried the Battlefront beta. It's shit. I'm sticking with BF2 online.
