I just checked his and betus's twitch channels. Slowbeef has about double the followers, but betus seems to get about triple the views when he streams. I fundamentally don't think slowbeef can entertain people without someone else to act as his foil.

As far as I can tell, the earnings were so low that they don't make it into the top 10000, which bottomed out at around $13000 over two years. The full dataset is out there, but it's probably not worth figuring out. Suffice to say they are making jack shit.

Off topic but SH1 3 and even 4 I like more than 2.

Objectively 2 is a really good game and I loved it at the time but parroting retards have seriously drained my appreciation of it.

Also voidboogers mindless consumerism of "i rather have more sh than no quality sh" is vapid and shallow.

I like 2 but my appreciation for it wained as i grew up and saw several movies that did its story before it. I still think its very well paced but 1 and 3 are much more interesting plot wise.

The Streisand Effect is in full force, though. Apparently the mod is actually pretty good in terms of gameplay (as far as an early GBA Pokemon game can go, at least).

I mean, he isn't even that good in the games he playes and loses run over run either unintentionally because his head is up too high or for the lulz and with more tries you can have more screentime, therefore money.

His self-conciousness is very delusional to a point it's humoristic if you carefully give attention to what he says.
In one second he tells everyone he is the greatest while in the next sentence we hear some line like "I have always been very insecure about myself", the
duality every vulnerable narcissist faces. He was extremely ashamed to do a youtube intro and giggled like a seven year old girl while doing the Intro for the first time.
Jan should see a therapist to face his illusion de grandeur instead of abusing the community of pokemon-crazed kids and autistic manchildren as his personal agony aunt.

Pchaltvs hypocrisy takes it to the point where on one side he says little kids could be influenced by the satirical content of pokemon clover while on the other hand he uploaded a Video called "Pokemon waifu Tierlist", you can guess where this is going.
Poindexter is sitting there for over half an hour and fucking rates how hard he would fuck the female trainer characters in pokemon while pointing out which are their aesthetical advantages. It's one thing to jerk off to underaged cartoon characters, but making a tier list for those little kids who are too innocent to be confronted with the unspeakable horror that is Pokemon Clover takes it to a whole new level.
Jan also treats his paying Subscribers like worthless scum, calling them dumb virgins who should kill themselves if they critizise him.
I mean the based/cringe thing was pretty funny in the beginning and for youtube his description is pretty accurate, this harsh honesty has something refreshing i have to admit. Now he is famous and has a solid fanbase so it's time to settle down a bit and don't be the edgelord nobody believes him to be any more.
This is a common phenomenon beyond people who see themselves as intelligent: They think being all smug and sarcastig gives them the right to insult others because everything is just a prank xD. You never know who is watching you, if you insult somebody or especially people like Jan do really struggle to accept, that there are people outside who are smarter than them and can't be fooled by his dancing around.

Finally i want to mention a pretty interestig sidestory. Jan fought some kind of a cold war against a guy called "MrDingDongGames".
Antonio, which is DingDongs RL name was also a Nuzlocker (the kind of pokemon challenge pchal does https://projared.fandom.com/wiki/Nuzlocke)
before pchal became popular and quickly got surpassed by Jan in terms of popularity. Jan constantly mocks Antonio for just being the 2nd best Nuzlocker in the world now (yes he takes his Games about the colorful torture-bred from the house of Nintendo way too serious) and even reacted on his challenge.

Antonio took it like a boss and did a face reveal in a Stream talking to the Camera, directed to Jan "Dear pchalty, you may be the best Nuzlocker in the world but at least I have fun and passion with what I am doing" The Fans loved his reaction and even pchal fanboys said "pchal may be the better nuzlocker but you are a Chad, sth Jan will never achieve", due to MrDingDong game having a very manly face while Jan being a literal grab of the soyboy meme into the real world.
Afterwards Jan stated sth. obnoxious like "I'm not doing it for fun anyways, I'm doing it for money." and athough he never went so offensive on DingDong again, he still bears a grudge towards him and i think he is just envious.

He also talks about politics often and once mentioned he would punch a corona denier.
I kinda lost track of his activities. Used to watch this pokemon stuff a lot during first lockdown 2020 but I lost my interest and kept going on with my life
so I don't know about his running battles today. I heard about some beef with MandJTV Michael and saw Jan has got noticably more dislikes than before, but I never rly got into it again.

He's not appropriate for this thread though, this is specifically people from the let's play subforum, but he might be deserving of his own thread between the stuff you mentioned, his frequent offhanded comments about wanting to get pegged by a "dommy mommy", and the general twitter brainrot he puts out.

Also in spite of him dedicating a fucking year to nuzlocking emerald kaizo and making it his life mission, a streamer named Gian beat him to the punch, which really took the wind out of his sails for a while.

Damn TieTuesday is making 79k? That's a lot more than I'd figure. That might be more than some bioengineering positions depending on the college/hospital. Plus he probably has a patreon. You do wonder though what people who leave stable jobs do if the niche of internet gaming content dries up. How do you reapply for engineer technician jobs with a 5 or even 10 year gap on your resume where you streamed for autists as your full time job?

That's what he made from Twitch, post-twitch fees and pre-pound-your-ass taxes, over two years. Take home likely looked like 30-40K, over two years. Doesn't count patreon and if he had a non-twitch donation system, or if he got any sponsors.

The resume gap varies on how much experience you had before you went to go find yourself. Honestly its not that big of a hurdle - you learned this shit at one point, you can probably learn it again, so really it is all down to personality/ability to integrate into team and do work.
The two issues for me if I was his hiring manager is first would I'd hammer his teamwork/soft skills and make sure he hasn't gone cage-mad, and the second would be... he fucked off out of the industry for a number of years. I'd want to be sure he wasn't coming back only to decide he hates it again.
