Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Well, I suppose my thesis that the United States has become a funhouse mirror version of the Soviet Union is being proven more and more right. And I hate that I'm right.

"You must get the vax in order to work, so that you are not a threat to colleagues or customers by catching or spreading covid"

Ok. But they can still go shopping where they mix with non-vaxxed, so what difference does it make whether or not people are jabbed?

Someone explain the science to me, because I can't get my head around it.
It stopped really being about science or rationality when politicians/the media stopped talking about available hospital beds and started just doing everything by case counts.
So around 18 months by my count.

I've seen it attributed to a Kroger store in Ohio. No further info or anything definitive, but it's definitely a Kroger because of the logo on the peanut butter jar.
The Rite Aid does it but its mostly because crackhead niggers rob it blind; still, the Cubans in Florida were right after all.

So with the likely collapse of Biden’s spending bill, how hard will the media perform mental gymnastics and blame Trump for the economic crash?
It's Trump's fault because Climate Change is racist.
I really hope they start mashing all the que terms randomly together and just be rambling nonsense in their defense. Now that would be Bidenesque as shit.

I know that, you know that. What I want to know is the official reason and explanation.

I want to know Why? What is the reason for this decision, what is the factual, science based, logical explanation as to WHY we must be vaccinated in work, and not else where?

Obviously, we know the answer and what's coming next; vaccinate the private industry, then vaccinate the public places. I just want to hear someone from authority, come out and admit that this vaccine mandate is a necessary first step to acheive that end goal and to stop treating us like fucking morons or 'conspiracy theorists'.

Well sure. He is also completely incompetent.
Just like everyone else in the Biden regime.

Seriously, bet I could pick X number of American citizen KFers from the membership list, and they would do a better job than "Congress" and Joey's regime. Got news for you, folks. Doing the job of governing isn't rocket science. Take the fucking politics out of it, and governing is simply a matter of paying attention and using common sense. One prime example - city managers. In our area, time and again have seen retired base commanders go immediately to work as city managers. Not rocket science, people. If you need help, ask.

The desperation... it's real. Simultaneously cucking to get Manchin to approve anything in the bill while blaming him.

Aaaand increasingly alienating the progs in the house. It's worth noting this'd not be a fight if the progs were on board entirely, since they could just slash it down to what Manchin wants and call it a win. Instead, they are slashing individual policies to try to get a compromise. They'd only do this if there were two opposing forces they were trying to balance.

Holy shit. We've hit Peak Communism levels of "Pretend the shelves aren't empty".
To be fair, this is probably an individual store's method of showing where stock is for easy stocking later. That being said, the line of pictures goes down pretty far.

So, in the inevitable aftermath of Biden's goverment collapsing in on itself, where do we go from there? States rights until 2024 or we set up @JosephStalin as an American Caesar to preserve the republic?

Also who the hell thought that paper bannister of full shelves was a good idea? That is both hilarious and horrifying. Where is that from?
I'll do it. I can get it done, with capable people behind me in support. Team effort. Governing and leading isn't rocket science, people. All you need is common sense, the ability to communicate and the ability to pay attention. Everything else you can pick up on the job, from personal experience.

Politics has poisoned everything almost beyond fixing these days.

Yeah, wondering myself where those shelf covers came from. Funny...used to tell people shopping at the commissary was like shopping in the old Soviet Union, where if you saw something new you liked, to get it now since it might not be there later. But not even the commissary has put up such shelf covers; actually, they are doing okay keeping shelves stocked.

Trump lost everything and bounced back by taking advantage of the system. He brags constantly about how he got out of his failures.

His business revolves around pushing his own name as a brand, which raises the price of goods stamped with his name. Hence why he involves himself with literally everything attention grabbing that he can lay his hands on. Placing himself in charge just long enough to get media attention is a bonus.

Along with this is another fun fact. Whenever a business fails, he simply lets himself be bought out while taking shares of the business with him, therefore ensuring that he gets paid when things inevitably improve, due to the fact that he knows that it takes time to turn a profit, but investors tend to want immediate gains. Rarely, Trump is called back into play because he was completely correct, but when he is, he charges them insane amounts of money to do so.

Now you know why Trump is richer than you will ever be, unless you start to get shit figured out. We’re all in the rat race here, but if you don’t know why someone is rich and you’re not, then you will lose any wealth you gain.

He "bounced back" NOT through business, but by acting, playing a successful businessman for "The Apprentice."

More fun facts: Trump has been in over 4K court cases; he routinely refuses to pay vendors, contractors, employees, etc., because he's so fucking cheap. REAL businessmen, successful real estate tycoons, for example, don't have to go to court thousands of times (no one in real estate has even come close to that count), guess why? That's because they pay their vendors, etc. Which is good business.

I know why Trump is richer than I'll ever be, and it's all because of his father. I'm a better businessman than Trump; I've run a business without a single default or court case or bankruptcy.

That's not bragging, you could randomly pick any Arby's franchise owner, and they'll likely be a better businessman than Trump. It's not hard.

No. Stores use a plan-o-gram, which looks much different, much smaller, doesn't interfere with looking at shelves.

Not all systems are universal. Any of the big chains and most of the small ones do, but some small or rural ones don't have such things installed. Given we know nothing about where the picture was taken, that is indeterminable. And it being in a rural store without it is more likely than some deliberate fakeout.

This came out the other day. Unsure if it has been posted because I skipped over 100 or so pages.

Leaked Border Patrol docs show mass release of illegal immigrants into US by Biden administration

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/le...cs-release-immigrants-us-biden-administration (https://archive.ph/3x3Tw)

At least 160,000 illegal immigrants have been released into the U.S., often with little to no supervision, by the Biden administration since March – including a broad use of limited parole authorities to make more than 30,000 eligible for work permits since August, Border Patrol documents obtained by Fox News show.

The documents give a partial snapshot into how the Biden administration has been releasing enormous numbers of migrants into the U.S., often with little to no oversight, supervision or immediate risk of deportation.

Since March 20, at least 94,570 illegal immigrants have been released into the U.S. with Notices to Report. Those who receive such a notice are only required to check in with an ICE office when they get to their final destination – which could be anywhere across the country. Those who check in are not deported or detained as their immigration proceedings move forward.

Meanwhile, since Aug 6th, the administration has released roughly 32,000 immigrants into the U.S. via parole – which gives migrants a form of legal status and the ability to apply for work permits.

Federal law says parole authority is to be used on a case-by-case basis for "urgent humanitarian purposes" and "significant public benefit." Typically only a handful of parole cases are granted by officials, but the Biden administration has been using it more broadly, including in its parole of tens of thousands of Afghans into the United States as part of Operation Allies Welcome.

Former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott, who served under President Biden, reviewed the documents and told Fox News that he believes the administration is abusing its parole authority.

"By law and regulation a parole shall only be granted on a case by case basis and only for significant humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit. Neither of these appear to apply to the current situation," he said, adding that the number of paroles brings into question the review and approval process.

"As a field chief, I don’t believe I ever approved more than 5 or 10 paroles in a year," he said. "When I did, I ensured that the alien was monitored continuously and was detained or removed as soon as the circumstances allowed."

The documents also show that since Aug 6, the administration has released an additional 40,000 illegal immigrants on their own recognizance. The documents also show that on one single day in Del Rio sector, 128 single adult illegal immigrants were released into the U.S. without ATD – which typically includes tracking by an ankle monitor or phone.

A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official told Fox that mechanisms like paroling, the use of NTRs and enrolling migrants in Alternatives to Detention (ATD) "provides mechanisms to require family units released from CBP custody to report to ICE within a specified time."

The official also cited figures that show that between 2014 and 2020, 81% of those released into the U.S. did report in for their immigration proceedings.

The agency has not released its numbers for September, but in both July and August there were more than 200,000 migrant encounters, marking some of the highest numbers in two decades. Since then, migrants have kept coming in large numbers. According to the documents, Rio Grande Valley encountered 5,900 migrants in one week, while Del Rio encountered more than 2,900 in the same period.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who has repeatedly claimed that the border is not open, reportedly warned officials of a worst case scenario of up to 400,000 encounters if Title 42 public health protections were ended.

Republicans have blamed the Biden administration’s rapid rollback of Trump-era border protections for the ongoing crisis at the border. The administration however has focused on an explanation emphasizing "root causes" like poverty, corruption and violence in Central America.

"The downturn in economies, the attendant rise in violence, the downturn in economies made more acute by reason of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the suppression of any humanitarian relief over the past number of years, and the pent-up thirst for relief among many different populations," Mayorkas told Yahoo News this week. "I think an accumulation of factors contributes to the rise in migration that we've seen."

I would press X to doubt it has anything to do with 2021 supply chain shortage problems, but there is no way it's used for stocking. It blocks the shelves and even low res color vinyl sheets like that would be way too expensive in place of a printed black and white 8x11 paper.

It's most likely something to put on empty counters for a day or 2 during a remodel that they reuse in various stores as they get remodeled.

But if it is some semi-permanent COVID supply chain solution then holy shit. I've seen some dire shit in the past few years, like malls putting up what look like permanent false fronts on stores they know will never be leases again. This would take the cake though.
