The black line is the estimated population percentage who have S-protein antibodies the red line is those who have N antibodies.

N antibodies, which are produced through exposure to the nucleocapsid protein are only present in people who have been infected and then recovered from Covid. Otherwise known as natural immunity. As we can see from the graph around 20% of England's population have natural immunity.

The black line is accounted for by vaccination but also by natural immunity, recovered cases will have both circulating S and N protein antibodies, the vaccinated who have never caught Covid prior to the jab will only have the S-protein antibodies.

98% of England's population have Covid antibodies. 98%.

So what's interesting about this graph? Note that the red line has remained completely flat since the vaccines were introduced despite the UK consistency reporting 30 - 50,000 cases per day during this period. The NHS does not conduct serum antigen screening on children, who are mostly unvaccinated, it conducts it on adults who are overwhelmingly vaccinated.

So despite millions of vaccinated adults suffering breakthrough Covid infection we are not seeing a corresponding rise in N-protein antibodies in the screening results? Why not?

If the vaccines are preventing the immune system from producing N antibodies, even with confirmed transmission and replication, then this is a big fucking problem. Not only will the vaccines not stop you catching Covid, which is obviously true, even if you recover from Covid you will not have natural immunity and you'll be at risk of catching Covid again and again.

If the vaccines are working as a preventative to severe illness then the vaccinated will absolutely have to take booster shots even if they contract Covid. If the only protection they have is from the circulating S-protein antibodies then they will get jack hammered once the antibody titres decline and they become seronegative. Here's your pharma subscription model in action. Fuck up your immune system, leave you prone to suffering recurrent infection and make you dependent on receiving a lifetime of jabs every few months to stop you suffering serious illness and death.

Are you sure blood donors are an accurate representative sample of the population?
Maybe all the breakthrough cases are in people who don't donate blood, and all the donors who only have S-protein antibodies never got Covid.
I dunno what could be a reason for that though.

One of the big talking points on the hard left, and we're talking literal communists like the World Socialist Website or the more radical subreddits, is that lockdowns only work when you do it like China or Vietnam and seal people in buildings and shut down everything. According to them, we should've done this from the start and we wouldn't have had a pandemic. But the reason we didn't do this is because the moneyed interests who control our political class demanded a compromise where SOME things remained open and that meant the virus would inevitably continue to spread.

There is some logic in this, but it's based on the flawed premise that we can eliminate the virus when it probably would've required a massive, nationwide lockdown in China and the total isolation of China from the world in that time. Obviously, that wasn't going to happen.
