I wonder if they'd have better results with these arm grafts if they used Tagliacozzi's method instead.

Sure, you have to leave the donor arm strapped in place for a few months, but is it really any more ridiculous than what patients go through today?
I asked something similar earlier in the thread and apparently the reason they can't do something like this is because of the requirement for a "urethra" which requires essentially two rolls of skin back to back rather than a simple skin flap or penis-shaped lump of flesh. It's always all about the peeing. Because gender stereotypes are bad (there is nothing essential about the male body that requires that you pee standing up, and some men prefer to sit just because it's cleaner, not to mention disabilities that might require it) except also let's ruin our health and spend $100,000 conforming to one.
Yeah I can easily seeing it going the other way before we course correct, I just hope we don't have to. I'm an optimist, I guess. We're starting to see some (emphasis on **some***) zoomers get a sense of looking for a serious relationship instead of whoring themselves around like millennials did because they're starting to see all of the post-wall 30 year olds full of regret. I can only hope that saner minds will start to prevail and see the well documented (if you know where to look, that is) amounts of sheer regret and body horror that these poor human gueniea pigs have to go through.
Both zoomers and young millennials have historically low amounts of sex in general, and I haven’t seen evidence of this “post-wall regret” anywhere except among angry people on the Internet claiming it’s happening to people they don’t like. The “young people are having so much sex” idea is just a remnant perpetuated by boomers who are unable to take in new information, so that their societal schemas are all 30 years out of date. Most young people in the US today are lonely, were unable to date in high school like earlier teenagers did because of helicopter parents, addicted to porn, and sexually dysfunctional due to said porn and antidepressant use.
At some point the pendulum will swing back - it's inevitable - but here's hoping only one generation will be the casualities of this medical malpractice.
The idea of an inevitable pendulum swung isn’t real outside of a few limited contexts either. If it was, society as a whole would go in clear circular patterns every couple of generations. This particular style of transitioning and surgery will not last, because it’s a trend with obviously bad outcomes, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a return to anything like what we had before. It might just turn into something crazier, like everyone implanting antlers in their head or something.
(sorry for double post)
Lol. The repairs are part of the racket for these butchers. These surgeons have no incentive to do a good job. Most of these girls are needing 3 or 4 repair surgeries and it's just more money in the bank for the surgeon. And that's just for their Phase 1 . Phallo is usually done in 3 phases.
This woman is doing a bunch of long series case studies about phallos. They're pretty interesting and just really show your how horrible the whole thing is.
Holy shit, someone else on this cursed earth
finally wondered about
what these people are doing to their collagen (although she called it 'cartilage' by mistake and then corrected the subtitles but not the audio, which was annoying). I feel so seen.
These videos are great. The Annoyed TERF Medical Pathologist Lady is very informative.
Edit: Okay, this video is just amazing and is like the Video Mascot for this whole thread.
