Not surprised about the use of the fake shelf covers - Retailers do not want to be known as the place thats always outta X. Customers will start going somewhere else if they get it in their head that a store has regularly empty shelves of anything, even if its not something they buy particularly often. The covers are less about tricking immediate customers, and more trying to take the wind outta the social media spam of empty shelves making shops look bad.

That being said, its a terrible idea that was clearly thought up by suits who have no idea how optics work. Sure, empty shelves is a story, but its not a particularly interesting one. But fake walls of product radiates that "Yo what the actual fuck" energy that make shit go viral on the internet.

Okay time for an update. I've finally sat down and listened to this whole two and a half hour podcast. Things of note:

• Doug Logan is not going to jail for perjury; since this claim was sourced using the podcast as a "confession" toward said allegation, it's a flat-out lie. Nobody ever mentioned Doug Logan being subpoenaed, withholding evidence or being in trouble with the law in the podcast even once.
  • What was mentioned however, is that Doug Logan received legal threats from both the Democrat party and Republican party. This first came out as a rumor that Doug was being threatened with bodily harm, however Doug states that no violent threats were made, but rather the Democrats were constantly trying to subvert the audit on technicalities, and the Republicans harassed him to dig up more & more evidence than he could in a tug of war between the two parties with him as a would-be proxy to both.
    • Doug Logan mentioned that if he had the choice to do the audit again, he would abstain specifically because of the Republicans & their behavior, not the Democrats. He says this is because the Dems are expected to act like assholes since they benefit the most from sweeping the audit under the rug. The Republicans didn't give him much in the way of breathing room & exacerbated the whole process by breathing down his neck.
    • Doug notes that the Democrats were shockingly antagonistic & duplicitous even for their reputation, constantly trying to kill, subvert & prevent the audit as much as possible.
• Podcast hosts constantly hound Doug Logan to call for a decertification, which Logan is against because it would be unprecedented action with unforeseeable consequences on less than no-shadow-of-a-doubt evidence. Doug is of the opinion that more investigations & court hearings need to be made to establish criminal intent & action, specifically because if they were to pull the trigger too early & decertify with less than iron-clad, irrefutable proof that the election was indeed stolen for Joe Biden, the Democrats could easily turn this strategy on the Republicans and present entry-level evidence to make their own future cases to decertify elections that swing for the Republicans & gum up the works.
• Podcast hosts ask Doug Logan if he believes the file deletions & server fuckery were acts of incompetence or willful malice. Doug Logan is on the fence & leaning toward malice because, though he admits there are no good reasons to delete files off of the election server, there exist plausible explanations as to why this occurred that would point toward incompetence.
• Doug Logan is apparently a devout Christian, mentioning God, Jesus & prayer on multiple occasions, even criticizing "casual prayers." This is what people are referring to and misappropriating when they say that Doug is praying to God while framing it in the context of being in some sort of legal trouble.
  • Doug mentions he hopes the Arizona Senate & Maricopa county do the right things under said Christian pretext; again, misappropriated quotes mined to frame Doug as a criminal in panic.
    • Podcast host flexes that he's a 'stronger' Christian than Doug, ironically making a hypocritical expression of pride. Yeah, sure, whatever.
• Everyone present is a programmer & they all allege as to what utter trash the Dominion software is, remarking that it was developed with less than rookie expertise & gave off the feeling of script kiddie tier programming of duct-taping different software applications together to Frankenstein together a tabulation program.
• Doug Logan describes his experiences at running the audit:
  • 90% of his activity was herding sheep to undertake the audit properly.
  • Doug Logan pulled multiple all-nighters, sometimes consecutively to undertake the audit, even falling asleep for an hour at his desk near the end, noting this as his sole mistake.
• Podcast hosts ask Doug Logan how he was selected for the audit. I forgot most of the details he described, but it boiled down to Doug having the most objectivity & related experience for such a task.
  • Doug also mentions in passing that he's "on the spectrum", whether this means he has autism or he's alluding to some abstract standard for impartiality can't be confirmed one way or another.

So just about everything claiming Doug Logan is in legal trouble using this particular podcast episode as a source is total bullshit.

The dude was a lukewarm content aggregator who didn't even read the threads he posted shit in, frequently reposting shit from prior days. It's not hard for anyone with a head buried in their twitter newsfeed to do what APC was doing on his best day. On his worst... well, I don't know of anyone else posting kitty cat snuff on the forum. The dude also has a massive ego over his past contributions that you can see from a mile away if you happen to encounter him on a splinter.

I'm sure others who actually interacted with him can attest to this. @Feline Supremacist comes to mind.

Oh, and everyone be sure to smile and wave, because you will undoubtedly be included in screencaps of APC sperging over the posts about him in this thread on said splinter. He literally stalks the halls of KF looking for people talking shit about him.

I seem to recall it involved him saying Null said or did something, with Null disagreeing.

If I recall correctly, this is how things went down.

• Coach Red Pill contacted Null wanting his thread de-indexed while a business deal was going down. Null refused on account of CRP wording his request poorly and the deal falls through. Whether it fell through because of CRP's thread is uknown.
• Null later needs help filing paperwork for a Ukrainian visa and reaches out to CRP for help and offers to de-index the thread. Null doesn't realize that it's too late thanks to CRP's poor wording of his initial request. CRP tells him to go fuck himself.
• APC later tags Null and accuses him of selling out his users to pull favors for CRP. Null is furious and warns APC not to attack the credibility of the site. APC responds by giving Null a top hat. Null decides to ban him for being a duplicitous cunt.

APC was kind of a weird case, wasn't he? Like, I remember he hated trump and wanted biden because it would speed up the decline of our country but he played it like it was a good thing. That's legit why I don't get why he was the OP of the BDS thread.

He was one of those rightists that hated Trump for being 'Zion Don' and thought he was just a release valve for conservatives that might otherwise actually Do Something™, IIRC. Being an accelerationist he probably thinks Biden crashing and burning the country like he currently is will finally lead to the Boogaloo or the Day of the Rope or the Turner Diaries or whatever.
