From my perspective, trans men expose the absurdity of censoring female nipples. For instance, there were numerous mainstream publications that posted Ellen Page’s shirtless Instagram pic after her mastectomy without censorship. Those nipples are still female nipples regardless of how she identifies. All she did was remove her breast tissue, inject some testosterone, and declare herself a “man”. But prior to all that, those publications would’ve censored her nipples if she posted that same picture while still identifying as a women.

I have to ask. There are many people who would say that Ellen Page has always been a man but didn’t realize it until now. So, let’s say that a few years ago, Ellen Page participated in a photoshoot that exposed her bare breasts but for some reason those photos weren’t uploaded to the Internet until today. Now, armed with the knowledge that Ellen is a “man”, would those same publications post those photos uncensored or censored?
