We've seen him give this 0 degree Kelvin take many times in the past, but does this exceptional individual actually believe that if there's 10 games released in the same week, that each game has exactly a 10% chance of being picked up by an Average Joe Gamer™? Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated AAA releases in years, I'm sure it'll do fine saleswise even if there's 75 other releases on that particular week.

Phil always looks at new releases through the lens of someone streaming them to make money off of them and bases his criticism off of that.
