I talked about this before on here. There's a guy in my town named Chris who acts almost exactly like Chris. The only difference is he has really no online presence. If he did I can 100% guarantee you guys would eventually find him. He just sort of pidders around town talking nonsense and calling himself Big c. For a while there you thought you would be a rapper. Basically he is just known as a public nuisance will constantly ask everybody on the street if they can give him a cigarette or some cash. Almost everybody in my city knows him and he owes almost everybody in my city money. I fully believe that Chandler would end up just like him if he did not have an online presence or nobody messed with him. He would just be a autistic weirdo asking for money as a localized public menace.

The LARPing and delusion is really hard to read, (it's beyond standard cringe at this point) but his concepts of right and wrong are interesting. If anything, he has grown up a lot. He understands that he has to take responsibility for his Mom's survival in living without him rather than feed his compulsive buying of innane shit that comforts him, which is well beyond where I thought he was. Disconnection from some of his obsessions seems to be doing him well. It sounds like he is playing up to his situation a fair bit ("please show people this and send money to my home please, I'm Jesus and also mentally ill") which isn't too foreign for him, especially for attention. (namely female attention) He actually has more opportunities to make positive changes in his life if he is open to changing his obsessions to helpful things.

Either way, this is far beyond autistic rage and /v/ memes. I don't know of the scope of his awareness of how serious this shit is, but it's obvious he needs to be away from Barb. This is harsh, but I think her no longer being alive will improve his life drastically. It seems like this is the only way he'll be able to fully separate from the womb, so to speak.

Is there a way the conventions can check and see who is a registered sex offender? I've been toany cons and they don't seem to care if creepers come. I remember being underage and having many odd pervs trying to get me to go to their rooms with them. Thankfully I was smart enough to decline and even reported a few to staff when I noticed them doing it to other girls.

No con is going to run a background check on every single person who attends, especially since most cons have at-con registration. It's a convention of nerds not trying to get a visa into Communist China or the Lockheed Skunkworks. Sure they *could* do it but it would be expensive and slow down at-con reg to a crawl. Not to mention a lot of people would not be comfortable with PonyAnimuTrekCon turning into Big Brother digging into the lives of every person who attended. Imagine con reg forms demanding your social security number to make sure that you are Bob Smith who lived in his mom's basement in New York and never drinks not Bob Smith the guy who lived in his mom's basement in New York who got drunk and peed next to an elementary school.

Instead cons have a short blacklist of people who have been banned for bad behavior so they can keep a look out for those particular individuals.

I can see him never getting into a Brony convention or anything to do with cartoons again he was already notablely a problem at least twice once with the defensive hegehog pose and another where he was a little too handsy, this would have made a lot of people running cons not even want him there for the reputation he has now as a sexual offender just because of the bad PR it will bring on them.

I doubt he would have made it into Northwest even before he had been banned by the organizers. Chris' internet footprint is so disturbing/horrifying that sooner rather than later a red flag would have been raised.
