US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

That’s when I figured we’d be having Biden’s “Mission Accomplished”, “Heckuva job, Fauci” moment. Jan, ‘22. Then just let the propagandists tell everyone to not believe their eyes and that everything’s fine all the way through Nov.
Except doing that means the mandates end and thus Dem governors lose their emergency powers. They'll try to have their cake and eat it too, but then that makes their support fracture and opposition to them hardens even more.

Red Wave prediction in NY of all places.

It partially relates to this debate I posted

Vote 2021: Is a ‘red wave’ coming? Republicans hopeful that trouble in DC and Albany will bring positive election results
View attachment 2639492
With Election Day just a few weeks away, some are wondering if there will be a “red wave” on Long Island due to former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s resignation and President Joe Biden’s relatively low approval rating.

State and Nassau County Democratic Party Chair Jay Jacobs says he thinks voters are more focused on what’s happening locally, including in the county executive race in Nassau County.

“I think what’s on voters’ minds is whether or not Democrats in Nassau County have done a good job or a bad job,” Jacobs says. “Yes, the political environment does have an impact. At this moment in time, with the polling that we’re doing, we’re not feeling it going against Democrats.”

Republicans, however, say that the Democratic-led bail reform package passed in Albany will be a factor in the district attorney races taking place in both Nassau and Suffolk.

Suffolk County Republican Chairman Jesse Garcia says cashless bail is a revolving door, meaning people can commit a crime one hour and be out on bail in 90 minutes.

“These policies that the liberal Democrats have enacted in Washington D.C. and in Albany are now demonstrating to the voters about the mistakes they made,” Garcia says.

Political consultant Mike Dawidziak predicts that most independent voters will be voting Republican because they don’t see the Democrats in Washington delivering and don’t like what they see in Albany in terms of bail reform and talks about defunding the police.

This year’s elections are expected to be dramatically lower than the 2020 presidential election.

Both parties are hoping their faithful voters will show up.

More possible than most would think, but it's going to be a hard push to deal with the sheer numerical advantage NYC had.

I say "had" because in theory (at least on paper), it's possible now. NYC lost six-digit population over 2020 due to fears of the riots and Cuomo's COVID shit.

If it follows the same paradigm it did the last time NYC was in this situation, we've got everything lined up good and poper.

The only question is whether or not their fortifications hold, because rest assured, the DNC would kill half of California to maintain their hold on NY.

Apologies for link spam, just posting articles that were on the homepage of msn.com, in order of appearance.

Some of them had already been archived, which I found interesting.

I'm unable to archive this, as every time I try, it redirects me and archives a different link (using archive.today)

I include these pop culture ones (including the vogue one from earlier) because I use it as a barometer to see what normies are talking about.

This was interesting to me because it made me think about the whole "country over party" spiel is only given to Repubs, not Dems, in my experience.

Is there a pattern you are seeing here or are you just sharing information?

Would, "They bit off more than they can chew" be a way to describe it? Perhaps, they are choking on it...
It comes close, but more "Suffered a Pyrrhic victory". They won the battle, but it cost them so much that it might as well have been a loss. Though it remains to be seen if the right under its new movement and momentum can capitalize on that cost.

Can you imagine what they're going to have to come up with to justify ignoring it again next year? At least the first time around they had the excuse of THE INSURRECTION(TM) and DC was still in military lockdown. What excuse will they reach for this time?
>Biden isn't legally required to give a SOTU, why do you care so much anyway, it was always just unspoken tradition!

You know, despite him being the normalcy President that was going to undo all the dangerous democracy destroying behavior of Trump.

Do you think the spark of the new movement can come from the People, pressing up against the not complying with mandates and literally losing their livelihood and not necessarily from a political party?

This is something I am sure was already known, people with active TB were required to wear face masks and were isolated in booths in ERs. Years ago I had to get a chest X-ray and I was terrified when I saw all those masked people in chest clinic and when I asked the doctor about it he said it was a precaution they took with people who were sick with TB.

On another occasion I had to go the ER and the closest was Bellevue. There was a black hobo freaking out in a plexiglass booth. I asked the attending and he said he had active TB but also refused his meds because he was a schizo.

I suspect TB is down due to masks and distancing, which is good, because TB is actually dangerous and there are drugs resistant strains circulating due to people like the black hobo. TB will definitely kill you and is far more dangerous than the wu flu.

The spark is already there. Like it or not, Trump's brand of populism has proven rather popular with the rank and file Republicans. That pairs alongside the fact that many woke up to the fact the part was largely controlled opposition and has lead to them making gains in ousting the RINO wing entirely. The midterms will be the greatest test of the movement. They need to gain at least a sizeable minority, preferably a majority to not be destroyed.

The actions of those not complying with the mandate will not create the spark, but it does greatly feed the flame.

Interesting. I knew TB is deadly and hospitals frequently worried about it, but I was suspicious of the article's timing and wondered if it were also fear-mongering.

@SeniorFuckFace tagging you since I can't reply. I won't lie and deny that it's mostly the latter, but I remember Gehenna mentioning that it's not a coincidence what happens to be shown on the front page of sites like msn.com as well as the order they are shown in so I thought I'd mention it. These are the articles that I see when I open a new tab of IE at work (yeah yeah, finance) and the order I see them in, admittedly picked for relevancy (there are more pop culture/fashion articles that I don't share, as well as local ones that would be powerleveling).

I have been seeing a pattern admittedly, which is that it's becoming more critical of the admin, as well as talking about bad things happening in other countries. Ime unless it's humanitarian, very few media outlets talk about life conditions or crime outside of the US. So for msn.com to show an article about Haiti doing a bad thing, an active bad thing (which is hostage-holding), I found interesting. So basically there's a overall pattern from the past month or so that I've been doing it that I can kinda see, but it's still admittedly something I don't understand enough to really elucidate on at the moment.

I am seeing this as well...I am uncertain what to make of it though. Is this a crack in the allegiance to the Administration as they know it is literally spiraling down the toilet, it is difficult for me to extrapolate the significance of this...

That you notice a pattern is more important at times than understanding what the pattern means. You could be missing pieces of the puzzle, but so long as you are thinking in terms of its overall shape you can begin to piece it together. Just avoid jumping to conclusions until you feel that the pieces are lining up and you could solidly make the case for your conclusion to someone else.
