Snort brought up a good point during Phil's Monkey Ball stream, in that is it likely that Phil is purposely failing/faking rage to lengthen the playthrough and to entice tips? Skip to 11:36 to see what they mean.


I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility that Phil tanks in order to generate sympathy (aka money from paypigs) in this case. He wouldn't dare do it during his beloved Street Fighter 2 stream, since the ego is too strong.

Nah, I think he genuinely doesn't understand how the game works (that he's actually controlling and rotating the stage and not the monkey itself)
He got to the verge of a ragequit despite the money buffing. The game is making a clown of him and his only incentive to stick around is the good ol' tugboat

was back on DSPCultLeader's channel, I used to post on the channel comments and then low and behold, my youtube account, which I never posted on his videos with, was blocked from commenting.

how could this happen

1) Way too much thought for DSP. He is just usually blacking out on these streams, and more concerned with censoring his chat and monitoring donations to pay attention to the levels.

2) I love how the Nazi hat can be the Pilot hat, the military style hat, the M Bison Hat...but you are a brain dead moron who needs to get a life if you call it a Nazi hat.

I think Phil half-asses with a game like Super Monkey Ball that he knows is difficult and is a kiddie game he really doesn't want to play. Faking rage, yes, but I don't think he's purposely failing. Like every stream, we know what he cares about.

This. Especially with stages where he does the same incorrect strategy 100 times. Phil has no qualms looking up guides for every game he plays.

For me, one of the most hilarious things about the DSPanhandler's recent spate of begging has been how clearly it has shown how deluded he is in regards to his so-called business model. He complains when tips are low, saying he doesn't understand why tips are low when he's enjoying the game so much. He thinks he deserves hundreds of dollars a day just because he's supposedly having fun playing vidya. It's completely beyond him that his jahb is actually to entertain an audience. No, he deserves their money because he's enjoying himself.

If anyone ever deserved to fuck off, it's Signor Burnelli.

Gotta love Phil's perpetual cognitive dissonance.

He tweets about his tips goals rewards as selling points... While having recently talked about how his fans aren't entitled to shit and should never expect that he will wear anything for them.

Why would anybody donate specifically for hat/vest when twice in the last few days he's just decided to take them off after hitting the goal? You clearly hate it Dave but you don't know any other way to get people to throw money at you.

Also stop crying about poor support when you just got $1000 in one stream a few days ago. Instant memory hole of course.
