phil and max are like 2 sides of the same coin and i mean it

if 1 side had all the motivation drive and willpower. while the other side expected everything handed to them

phils project 7 was a great idea, and i say that to this day. but he just didnt do it. max's assist me series was literally max, his dog, his family, friends and a camera. and it blew up to the point where capcom even got involved

phil has some cheek to imply max has teams of people working for him and to act like he never started from the bottom. it took him a camera, an idea and a few people for it to blow up

Cross Counter with their Excellent Adventures series was also a similar format to the "Assist Me" ones and it didn't take much.

They were just two friends playing SFIV ranked matches while talking shit and having some guests once in a while. No fancy pants editing -I believe they only had a single dude editing them- or anything. Literally just direct capture, a camera and some friendly shittalking was all it took for Gootecks and Ross to become FGC powerhouses.

Just so people can check out what kind of show it was.

Capcom then proceeded to have Mike on the mic even more, he ran the amazing Capcom Pro Talk out of his pocket... While DSP was panhandling. And Gooey was doing lines and spouting schizo shit on Twitter. Then Mike had a mental breakdown.

If he actually stuck with this and played stuff he enjoyed, he would probably be better off. As it is, he chases, hates everything, and his garbage personality causes the majority of potential viewers to cringe and walk away.
