You know when you can picture somebody just from the sound of their voice? This is EXACTLY what I picture every time I listen to Monsters. I'm getting a hint of nerdy pomposity. He looks like the phrase 'well, actually' in human form.

Tried to give him another try with the latest Nazi video, quit halfway through because he really felt the need to do that annoying, whiny sarcastic voice when describing the personal lives of goddamn Nazis. Like, does he really believe other people think their stances were sane and logical? He can't rein in his MATI and it ruins every single video. I don't know how else to explain him other than "well, actually" in human form so thank you for that lmfao.

It's a shame that these narrators have to spoil some really interesting stories with that sarcastic tone. It's been discussed in the thread before - in fact, Monsters was named, as was Stephanie Harlowe - but it's like yeah, we know you're talking about awful people, so we really don't need you to signal when to feel repulsed and we don't give a fuck that you're probably feeling the same way about an awful crime as most other rational humans would. The bitchy attitude adds nothing and sometimes even loses you subscribers!

Thanks for the heads-up - for better or worse I'm still subbed to Monsters for now but I think I can do without being told 'did you know Nazis were bad' by a guy who not only sounds but is now confirmed to look like the sort of man who buys overpriced Pocky from the local Bongland music chain store.

There's no clearer sign that you're a morlafag when you put a domestic abuse hotline phone number at the end of your video about a murderer. Gotta score dem gud boi points.

That's because when people discovered him, they were uncovering more and more hilarious shit and then were unable to stop, which later turned into pure autism, like people cataloguing the shirts he wore and whatever.

Enjoy my shit effort for this meme.

Not necessarily a horror channel, but I miss channels like Sir Spooks and Nuke's Top5 before they went the way of emulating horror channels.

Sir Spooks really fell off when he was just posting videos of content sent in exclusively by fans, almost all of them being hyper uninteresting and simply unbearable non-content. Things that offer no speculation or surprise.

I still watch a healthy amount of Nuke's Top 5 content. I am not an actual believer in the paranormal, but I enjoy this sort of content as a sort of compilation of guerilla, amateur horror-film making of the most experimental sort. Nuke usually finds a lot of decent, topical things - but has also been over investing in blatantly fake shit more often than not.

What fucks with me, however, is his clickbait thumbnails (which I parodied above) and non-sensical titles with tasteless bullshit irrelevant to the actual video. Sadly, it is impossible to tell anyone that you enjoy Nuke's at all anymore, since his Nexpo-tier over dramatic narration and literally hyper repetitive catch phrases ("did you see it") has been lampoon and heavily criticized in reaction videos for months now. I know penguinz0/cr1tikal severely shit all over his content and has only concreted the embarrassing delivery of otherwise enjoyable subject matter further.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned this in the Cinemassacre thread, but holy shit, I hate "Dad" and think he's painfully lame, and that he ruined some AVGN episodes by appearing in them. I've ragequit from the AVGN video about Sega Genesis accessories due to his unnecessary appearance, as well as his pointless guest spot in the Rental Reviews Rambo episode. It's a shame, because I loved First Blood and genuinely wanted to hear James talk about it -- and not have it ruined by some half-assed Andy Kaufman D-list e-celeb.
