Wie schon gesagt: Prinzipiell kann dich jeder wegen Beleidigung verklagen, da gibt es keinen Bullen-Bonus, aber die Strafe ist normalerweise recht mild mit einer kleinen Geldstrafe davon, wenn sich überhaupt jemand die Mühe macht, das zu verfolgen. Rainer war aber nur noch auf Bewährung auf freiem Fuß und ob Beleidigung nun ein recht lapidarer Tabestand ist oder nicht, es ist ein Verstoß gegen die Bewährung.
Dass er noch ein paar Instanzen von Körperverletzung aufgesammelt hat beißt ihn da viel mehr in den Arsch, aber die Polizisten zu beleidigen sorgt halt nicht grad für Wohlwollen bei der Richterin.

The actual trial was held by the Amtsgericht (the lowest tier), they only used the physical building of the Landgericht to accomodate the expected number of visitors.

Thanks for that clarification, I wasn't sure if they merely used the building or if it was directly put under supervision of the Landsgericht.

Thanks to the German kiwis for enlightening us: I saw count dankula's video on this fat angry gentleman (although most Germans sound angry the majority of the time, so it's always tough to tell the difference. Their phone sex operators must really suck) and wondered how he was doing, but I don't speak German. Here in the US we only speak Spanish as a second language so we can direct our Mexican landscapers.

Anyways, if he still hasn't dropped off the internet by now, I could imagine his town must be absolutely done with his shit.
On one hand, sure, people shouldn't constantly be showing up at some unhinged fat guy's house to harass him. I definitely wouldn't mind if he managed to finally catch a few of them and beat their asses with sticks or whatever else he's wielding that day. On the other hand, when your crusade against the trolls is causing so much collateral damage to the area and people around you, at some point you just need to take a xanax and stop screaming at people online.

Tbh I'm glad Dragonlord doesn't own a real gun. He would have probably shot innocent people by now too. He likes to shout at random neighbors driving by his property with a bicycle too because he is fucking paranoid.

And the cops deal properly, but they can't be playing personal guards while other people need the police too. Afaik they only have 1 car for the whole region (several villages and towns).

It's rural Bavaria, the police station in question has like 6 guys (phone operator included) working or something. And Rainer called them day in and day out several times an hour over completely idiotic shit like people merely standing in front of his lawn. Anything short of cops being stationed right outside his gate, shooting anyone approaching his property without carrying a pile of junkfood on sight was deemed insufficient by the Lard. No response time was ever quick enough, no emergency somewhere else demanding police presence was deemed significant enough to warrant not sending cops in full riot gear to beat up people for taking selfies in front of his decrepit home.

And of course, Rainer insulted the cops directly in person, on the phone and indirectly via his streams. Gee whiz Batman, do I ever wonder why their motivation to come ASAP whenever Rainer calls so low.

Rainer literally is the boy who shouted "WOLF!" too often. The police learned quickly that most calls from Rainer are a giant waste of time and tax money and he overdid it to such a point that even situations where calling the cops was more than justified caught no attention. As I said, the Ogre that shouted "Wolf!" just a couple dozen times a day too many.

German laws regarding self defense are pretty much equal to "stand your ground" self defense laws, just saying.
You're not required to flee from the threat, you are not required to seek the least harmful method of fending off an attacker, you are not required to analyze the situation on how big the actual threat is and the law outright states that any act of self defense is legal.

The problems with Rainer are that he usually went out of his way to confront and attack people and you can't really claim self-defense when you go confront and attack whoever's bothering you. You also can't claim self-defense when the worst thing the other side did was laughing at you and shouting at you.
