Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

That is a very controlled context she is communicating in and that style of speaking would not carry over into real-world, business exchanges as there would be consequences which she is free and clear of in her current role.

It is like, "Say whatever you need to keep the subject matter on the up and up and finalize press conference..."

Nothing. Congress doesn’t have the power to do shit. They don’t have the power to issue arrest warrants. It’s all bullshit. Just a distraction from our woes.

I’d say the Justice Dept is probably going to go after him though, for anything they can dig up, just because they can, but nothing is coming from this “Contempt” bullshit.

Oh, and no one cares about 1/6 except the politicians trying to use it to distract folks from the fact that there’s half as much to buy and what’s there costs twice as much and there’s no one coming into work at McD’s so who’s going to make my burger?

Yep. She reminds me of that scene from Patton when he comes through and inspects his new HQ in Tunisia. After he finishes up the main building and walks out, the supposed sentry who has been napping in his chair falls down and after he's woken up by the fall, hastily stands to attention and salutes the general. Patton asks, "What are you doing, son?" "T-taking a nap, sir!" the poor man replies, to which Patton just says, "Carry on, son. You're the only one here who knows what he's doing."

They won’t fail, but whatever they dig up on him won’t have anything to do with 1/6 or probably not even with Trump. You’re looking at a Manafort or Stone situation. If you can remember far enough back, a Scooter Libby situation. They want a scalp to wave and red meat for the propagandists to help them spin their stories. Bannon’s a political operative which means he’s Dirt McGurt, so all they have to do is dig until they find enough to compel him to testify, catch him in a perjury trap, and then off he goes to Club Fed

I don't know considering how much the Biden administration sucks and shit keeps falling on them. I wouldn't be surprised if they fail on digging up any dirt on him or it backfires somehow.
