I called Chauvin getting convicted of multiple contradictory charges before the trial even started, and I'm calling it again. They'll probably throw in a few bonus convictions that make no sense just to send a message.

You do not touch the establishment's pets. Not while you're living on the corpse of what used to be America.

Any reasonable juror is going to be skewered by all the establishment crazies, with the full support of every powerful western organ. The days of fair trials, especially for whites, are rapidly ending.

I think he's going to be acquitted. He didn't kill black people (no matter how much the media pretends otherwise), it's not an election year, the judge is actually doing his best to keep the trial fair and has repeatedly told the prosecution to go fuck themselves, and there's video of just about everything, where he's being chased and attacked only to defend himself, including the disarmed fuck who fakes surrender before pulling out his own gun.

Chauvin had a lengthy video of him on a guy's back. Even though I fully think Saint Floyd of Fentanyl died from overdosing, Chauvin didn't do himself any favors.

Every person Rittenhouse shot attacked him. He didn't spray fire the crowd.

Rittenhouse is a political Rorschach test. The whole thing is on camera, context included and somehow people can't even agree about what went down.

The official video by his legal team makes it pretty clear what happened, thats why YT put some censorship on it.

Here's the Viva Frei and Robert Barnes weekly livestream. If the timestamp doesn't work, they start talking about Kyle at 15:40. The focus appears to be on getting a Constitutionally fair jury and protecting Kyle's public image.

I'll do a summary for people who don't care to watch:
-The entire trial will be broadcast live on Court TV
-The government was supposed to produce their expert witness in August. They didn't get one until a couple weeks ago. Sounds like Mark Richards will be the one doing cross examination, if the government's expert if allowed to testify at all, since the prosecution completely missed the deadline for getting one.
-Based on what the judge said, Kyle's expert witness should be allowed to testify.
-The Daubert hearing was scheduled for today.
-Jury selection begins November 1st
-Kyle's expert witness' testimony is already available (not sure where, if someone could please post it)
-Robert Barnes, to anyone getting on the stand: "Assume that whatever you think nobody knows is known, because it is known."
-Barnes again: "In terms of jury selection, we're bringing in people to make sure that people are not able to lie to falsely get on the jury." Sounds like Kyle will have a team digging into every potential juror's history to be certain the same thing that happened to Chauvin doesn't happen here.
-The prosecution has asked the judge not to reveal the identities of their witnesses. Kyle's team is going to fight it.
-There are a few 2A cases headed to the Supreme Court. Barnes seems fairly confident in positive outcomes.
-It's not yet decided if Kyle will get on the stand.

If Kyle gewts on the stand do you think he will answer questions? Or rather pull the "I won't answer anything?" card? I could imagine if he gets the question "Do you regret what you did?" this might be a very tricky answer. I hope for the best because imho this was a clear-cut self-defense

Rittenhouse back in court today as prosecutors look to block defense from describing shooting victims as ‘looters’ and ‘rioters’ during trial

Kenosha prosecutors will return to court Monday afternoon, as they seek to ban Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense team from referring to the three men he shot as “looters” or “rioters” in the Antioch teen’s upcoming murder trial.
"Rittenhouse fired the shots while patrolling downtown Kenosha with an AR-15-style rifle amid the turmoil surrounding the shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, by a white police officer"
"Rittenhouse denied at least two of them — Rosenbaum and Huber — a chance to defend themselves from the accusations when he killed them."

Surely a fair description.

"In video taken before Rittenhouse fired his gun, officers in an armored vehicle tossed bottles of water to him and other armed civilians who were clearly violating the city’s 8 p.m. curfew."
Journalist upset that people were out past curfew, but only certain people, not the looters and rioters.

"One officer can be heard on the recording expressing his gratitude to the group."
She closes the article with this, as if its some great condemnation. Police being aptly kind to decent people? Noo!

Great journalism there, Stacy St. Clair.

They were in the act of trying to kill him. They were the aggressors. They don't get a chance to "explain".

They were in the act of trying to kill him, you dumb landwhale whorenalist.
he took it upon himself to patrol the lakefront city with an AR-15-style rifle.
That obese slug has a hate-boner for Rittenhouse.

In order for Rittenhouse to legally justify killing two people and wounding a third, his attorneys must prove that he exhausted other chances to flee and had a reasonable fear for his own safety.
Case closed then? Because there is video of him fleeing from everyone involved, yes?

Videos from that night show several people trying to disarm Rittenhouse after he fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum and ran away from the scene, but there is no clear image of an unarmed Rosenbaum trying to take the rifle.
The video of Pedobaum throwing shit at Rittenhouse and chasing him is plenty evidence that he wanted to harm him.

After shooting Rosenbaum, Rittenhouse ran down the street before tripping and falling.
Yes, that's an accurate description of what transpired. All journalists are bastards.

I can't claim to know how Kyle feels, but he was apparently puking his guts out for the first two weeks after the incident. If you have a heart and kill two people, even if they were trying to kill you, it can't feel too great. This is a kid who was trying to decide between being a police officer and being a nurse. He seems like a genuinely kind person, so it might be beneficial for people to see that.

Ultimately, it's Kyle's decision, but the video footage should speak for itself. According to Barnes, the best way to go is to have a strong enough case that Kyle won't have to testify.

This is a bad sign for the prosecution that means they don't have a solid case. You don't just decide to cherry pick what words you can and can't use during the trial unless you're a complete pussy that abides by the "feels over reals" motto.

"Oh, those bad guys that were attacking him? Yea you can't call them bad guys anymore. That's just not fair!"
