There's nothing to suggest it's Pomu specifically, no. She had a stream last night and it was a karaoke masked behind a SC donation reading. Of course, she could've just avoided mentioning it entirely to remain professional too.
Though the other comments in this thread are kind of right, in my opinion. It feels like HoloEN recognise their monopoly on the market and won't budge. Finana will be collaborating with Shiki Miyoshino of PRISM this week, and PRISM have collaborated with Phase Connect. VShojo have also been loosy-goosy with collabs despite their 'monopoly' on the Twitch market.
There are a myriad other explanations for Kiara's comments, but if it is Pomu then it doesn't make them look good. You'd have a dynamic of HoloEN trying to choke smaller companies out while those smaller companies try to create big waves to raise all ships amongst each other. Let's not forget which small company constantly collaborated with Nijisanji to get recognition, once upon a time.
EDIT: The extended clip does seem to suggest it's Pomu. 'I really like her, I feel like there's a connection there.' definitely alludes to her and Pomu's mutual interests and frequent chatting on twitter.

tbh that'd be a pretty tribalist assumption without us knowing what might have caused it. Though I'm sure some would leap to that conclusion. to have things like holoEN collab with Pikamee, Milkyqueen, Calli featuring on Boogie Voxx's Album, none are things that would happen if HoloEN was trying to choke out smaller competition. Anyone saying they try to choke out smaller companies would have to be willfullly ignorant to do so.
The Nina rrat as baseless as it is actually has more credibility because it at least doesn't have other actions that directly contradict it like this, and even that despite bringing it up earlier, I have strong doubts in.

If the rrat is real I reckon it wouldn't be to protect HoloEN, it would be to protect HoloJP. HoloEN brought a huge amount of eyes to the home branch, they may want to protect their market share by preventing NijiJP from getting the same boost.

The Nina rrat is knocked back by the fact that Veibae's comments on Hololive resulted in her stepping down from the collab with Kiara and Nyanners, but VShojo were still able to do a collab with them.
Milky Queen is a long-time friend of Calli and it still took her nearly a year to greenlight the collab. BOOGEY-VOXX is not competition in the V-Tuber scene for HoloEN, and Pikamee belongs to a JP company despite her Bilingualism.
You can call it a 'Tribalist outlook' but I'm just looking at what I see in front of me: all the EN groups interacting with one another whilst HoloEN remains isolated. Arguing over their motive is rrats vs. rrats, I concede, but I personally see no other reason for them to block Pomu of all people unless it's to stop Holofans from recognising that there are established groups beyond Hololive.

The collabs between Hololive and NijiJP kinda monkey wrench that notion. If they were worried about NijiJP getting eyes on them then doing stuff like having someone from Nijisanji as a guest at Suisei's live doesn't make much sense.
Veibae also didn't up and break the taboo of talking about roomates which is something Cover takes kinda seriously. (Kson being an open secret or not aside)
I don't remember seeing anything about Calli having a hard time greenlighting the Milky collab but none the less that it got greenlit at all kinda botches the "they want to choke out small competition" idea.
Boogie Voxx could be marked as direct competition for Calli herself if cover is approaching this as ruthlessly as you seem to think.
And Pikamee is, whether a japanese company or not, one of the most popular indies that also have a sizable English audience. It being a "japanese company" doesn't make a difference there, Hololive EN is a Japanese company too and so is NijisanjiEN so I don't know what your point there is, if they want to "keep down competition" as you say, she's included.
If one single collab getting stopped is enough to make you think "the only explanation is they want to stop holofans from recognizing other groups" you're just being silly. I get you're our resident Nijifag, hell a ton of my vtuber watch time is Niji too. But I regularly see this victim complex from nijifans about big mean covercorp trying to keep them down and it's really just kind of sad.

I am trying to be civil about our difference in opinions. I fully respect that you disagree with me as we are both essentially picking a side based on how we perceive the collab rejection, I ask that you respect my views without leaning into 'you are the nijifag' and using broad strokes for the community. I'm not doing any of those things.
I am not saying Cover are approaching this 'ruthlessly' or that it is even all-encompassing; but you also need to be Cognizant of the fact that Milky Queen, who rarely gets more than double-digit live viewers, and BOOGEY-VOXX, who is a music creator that doesn't stream, are NOT direct competition to HoloEN's operations.
Kiara promoting NijiEN through Pomu to her upper limit of 1.3m people, showing that there is another big branch of talented people who banter and collab all the time, are dishing out covers and original songs, are playing all these different games, is a significantly larger risk to their foothold on the EN market.
It isn't a stretch — and certainly not a viewpoint exclusive to 'Tribalism' or a victim complex — to look at this from a business perspective and believe that HoloEN are wanting to avoid giving NijiEN the only thing they really lack. Exposure. Certainly not now that this HoloALT stuff seems to be ramping up and they need to keep as many eyes on them as possible.

I addressed all of your points in my post the last bit about the victim complex stuff and using Nijifag (something you call yourself in this thread so don't know why you're sensitive about it now) was just a secondary point about the trend I see from a lot of Nijisanji fans to act like Hololive is somehow keeping them down while also counting myself among those fans even if I don't agree with the narrative. If I were solely writing your opinion off as that I would just say that and not address any other points. I'm just saying it fits right in with that "narrative"

To be honest I don't really see any point in trying to differentiate various kinds of "cuteness". Japanese might have multiple words for "cute", but it's not something really measurable and is by defition extremely subjective. For me, cute means something along the lines of "beautiful in an innocent way" and that applies to both my dog playing with his toy and a vtuber doing some stuff on a stream. I understand it might be different for other people though.
Besides, something might be cute in one moment, but then invoke a different reaction later, i.e. as you mentioned, Rushia is cute but her body pillow is kinda lewd. So "cuteness" is not an inherent attribute that you either have or not, it depends on the situation and context, which makes talking about it even more complicated, since people might look at the same situation differently.
If I remember correctly, holostars also have a predominantly male audience; I'm assuming it's just the case of guys refraining from calling other guys "cute", because that kinda (added that to make Burnt Fish more confident about his sexuality) sounds gay as fuck. Oga's voice is hot tho', check his ASMR stream for raspy demon laugh
I'm still not entirely convinced she's talking about the fairy here... Whose management would shot this collab down, Kiara's or Pomu's? Hololive has agreed to collaborations with VShoujo before, why would they have anything against Niji? Or was it Niji themselves who said no? Either way, it would have to be something on the EN side of things since JP and ID members from both companies can collab just fine.
