SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

You know, I actually wish 110-Montauk would get a followup. The SCP universe is always kinda just frozen in time, which is especially conspicuous when you get to an SCP that is explicitly a young girl. But I’m pretty sure it’s been more than a decade since that article was written. 231-7 isn’t a little girl anymore. How does this change how the Foundation deals with her? Were they really able to hold off her giving birth for that long? The “timelessness” of the Foundation gets a bit weird when you look back ten years later on an anomaly so explicitly tied to the victim being a young child.
231-7 gave birth to SCP-999, which cured her of her trauma and depression, and she was allowed to see her family again.

As for how to keep a woman from giving birth, I assume you'd just have to prevent labor from actually triggering, or reverse the labor process. There's actually been a real life case of a woman who was pregnant for 60 years so the SCP Foundation pausing a pregnancy isn't too farfetched considering what bizarre shit they can pull off.

Wait, isn't that accomplishing their whole goal though?
From what I gathered, that's the point of the "adventure" and the vote at the end, it's a moral conundrum. By allowing this entropy to continue, somehow it'll affect everything considered "anomalous" to the world, including dreams and imagination, or something? And if they allow anomalies to exist by stopping this process, they're going against the purpose of the foundation, so they might as well erase the whole thing.

Of course that's only a guess because FUCK if I'm reading 17 different pages for an SCP that did not hook me in. One of the only long SCPs I've read all the way through is the colored disc one, that was pretty good. And also SCP-5000, because I was curious why it was so popular when it came out. It was alright, I guess.

But the Foundation is literally preventing the world from ending on a daily basis, what the fuck? Ending the foundation would cause the world to slip into apocalyptic chaos. They're the thin line between the normal world and eldritch anomalies beyond human understanding buttfucking reality until it's no longer recognizable. That's a major theme with the concept in the first place. You have to stretch the canon pretty fucking hard to make this work, to the point where it doesn't even sound like the Foundation.

To be fair, the foundation doesn't simply shutdown but instead reforms into an organization dedicated to regulating the anomalous instead of outright hiding it.

Sorry for the confusion, it's been a while since I read 6500.

I think we need to pull this back on topic a bit. Turning this thread into 'the hunt for the perfect exposer' is really pushing the limits of the 'Don't plan any trolling' rule.

We've made it clear that we're wanting someone to expose, there's several people taking a look at potential people, let's not go too far with that.

@Baubius , Make sure you archive posts if you're going to post them here. It's taken for a given that at least one person in the Wiki watches this thread, so you gotta make sure things stay.

Would it be worth updating the OP? A lot more shit has been uncovered, especially with several more SCP wikiers coming here. And it would indirectly help the cause of exposing it, as well.
EDIT: My mistake, was just trying to lurk, accidently quoted. My bad! Will be a bit more careful in the future.

Being pedantic here but I believe that's the one who's baby died and calcified within her, I wouldn't technically call that a pregnancy. But the Foundation have perfect amnesia drugs so yeah that wouldn't be unbelievable of them.

So it looks like Metaphyscian's been unbanned, and he's also reposted his 5k contest entry.

Kinda disappointing honestly. The hook (e.g. the SCP object itself) is really, really good, but the story just feels kind of lackluster. The "slow descent into madness diary entries as exposition" is just so tired to me by this point, while the story itself just feels like a shittier retread of the excellent SCP-2480 without the great exploration log to sell it.

I feel like this would be better if it left more to the imagination instead of straight up explaining everything, because the imagery of a massive pipe organ that produces music from preserved not-corpses is delightfully creepy, but the story about yet another cult trying to summon yet another god with no twist to the formula just rings hollow after a decade+ of SCP.

I mean like, the original article all but stated that it’s rape. I believe it was later changed to be more ambiguous.
I'm disappointed that they removed it. As stupid and edgy as it was, it feels like it got de-fanged and de-clawed for no reason other than it being "uncomfortable". Misses the whole point of the thing in the first place. If its so edgy that it makes Kiwis uneasy, maybe it was doing its job perfectly well. There's also no justifiable reason in my eyes to change it.

Besides, its at a point in culture where it went from being shocking, to not being shocking at all, to being shocking again.
I hate to pick 110-Montauk as an example but it's reasonably good at implying something utterly horrific without saying it, although my personal headcanon is it's just reading her a bedtime story.
Wasn't that one of the King Crimson Scarlet King alternatives?

I don’t know how many of you play Hearts of Iron 4 but I just got accepted as a writer for a mod there called The New Order: Last Days of Europe.

The SCP community tried to ruin my enjoyment of writing, and for a time they did. I’m proud to say they fucking failed.

I don’t know where else to post this other than the Farms, you guys are the only ones who really know how fucked it is over there. Cheers

Not to put a damper on anything but this is a very bad place to mention anything that could lead to your place of employment.

Just move this over to the HOI4 thread then.

Anyways, minor post but I have found out they actually Acknowledge the pedoshit of San Fran Gay Men's Chorus in SCP-3922
SCP-3922-Extended-Test-Logs-SCP-Foundation.png

If only they addressed their own predators in same way, thread would've been shorter.

I like how they immediately jump to say "d-don't let a few perverted men sour your view on the gay community" when multiple men from that chorus were sex offenders. This isn't a matter of poor taste in words, nor satire. They actually do mean it when they say "we're coming for your kids".
