I was saying last week that this one clipper have it out for Kiara because he always clip a particularly speculative and drama inducing moment from her. Well lo and behold.

Chicken and the egg dilemma. Does she seem dramatic because so many clips get made like this.

Or do so many clips get made like this because she's dramatic.

I'm inclined to think the latter because one would think if it was just clippers trying to fabricate drama there'd equally be clips of the others. which there are SOME but the sheer volume of them seems unique to her. Fabricating or inducing drama can work when it's someone clipping a JP talent (like Otakmori) because you can choose to translate something in a specific manner (or mistranslate) to stoke a narrative. But when it's an English clip the most they can do is slap some clickbait on it, the clip ends up speaking for itself though. The path to her not having so many speculative drama clips is her having less vague drama/sadposting on her channel. It's possible to be "open" like she is without always framing it with "I'm so sad, I can't explain but I'm just so disappointed" which I get that's just how she is, but well, how she is is what's producing these clippable moments.

It's tiny, easily missable, and seemingly harmless moments like this where one remembers that Ina, as an artist, has probably seen so much cursed shit without ever looking for it, she's probably immune by now.

The whole 1:11 to 1:15 is filled with tiny details in the animation, and I'm a sucker for those things.

So her normal heart rate while streaming (which is likely a little above resting) was around 70, and peak panic got her up to 105-ish. I'm sure some VTubers are at the peak of fitness (particularly the dancers), but so far Kiara's the only one I've seen put a heart monitor on and actually have decent cardio.

I think I might have undersold point #5 which seems to be the real big origin of her stress. Her exact words were "I still haven't recovered from the events of this year, and the losses I went through. This will take some time, and I will recover from it." She sounded REALLY somber when saying this. I'm going to guess she lost someone really close to her this last year, and she still hadn't mentally recovered from it fully. And the stress from the new job just compounded it. But honestly, I'd rather she's upfront with us about this rather than bottle it up til she just cracks.

It's been a while since I've been here, but I was watching the Canada Fan Expo event with Ina, Gura, and Ame and was surpirsed when Gura said that she had never been to Canada. It was "proven" or believed that she lived in Canada, right? Or am I misremembering things?
