Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Twitter will survive for the simple fact that the ROI is not monetary and isn't cashed out in any traditional currency. The entire point of propping up Twitter is to manufacture false consensus.

Twitter isn't going anywhere.
Sure. But you still need to put money in, which is money nobody has on-hand. Even the rich have to budget their expenditures, and right now, they already spent it all on fortifying the election. Anyone who wanted to give Twitter another injection would need to dip into their rainy-day reserves, and Twitter does not have enough of a non-financial RoI to justify spending actual money as opposed to stuff budgeted as "discretionary fun money". To go with the leftist meme, anyone wanting to prop up Twitter is going to have to skip buying a lot of new yachts given they're 500 million in the hole thanks to a failed lawsuit. That's real fucking money for a single person or even a small group to come up with on short notice.

If you think they're going to let Twitter die, you're a complete fucking retärd. I thought some of you were smarter than this.

It's not a matter of letting, it's a matter of "Can they actually help". Their ability to respond is not infinite, neither are their resources. That remains to be seen, either way.

No one has money to pump into them, that was what I just said. The money is not, infact, limitless. It takes time to recoup and everyone tapped out of their disposable income with 2020.
Well, except Square and Twitter happen to have common leadership and ownership, plus Square needs to carefully manage revenue in order to not under or over perform. Twitter spend is a great lever for that. If you’re making a lot more in contactless credit card processing, why not lose more in a pointless shitposting platform so you’re still making your numbers?

I know this belongs in the COVID Megathread, but I think this is worth mentioning here : https://www.theblaze.com/news/moder...boosters-could-potentially-be-needed-annually
its the cycle for normy to understand two week to flatten to curve was lie.

I really dislike this police hero worship republicans have. The police are the ones that have their boot on your neck enforcing all this insane shit. Did any of the officers refuse to arrest the dad in Loudoun county? No, they fully followed orders of people protecting rapists. It seems like a bad idea to import police from these pozzed areas.
It's not universal, cops around where I live haven't enforced shit at least when it comes to Covid and openly refused to in some cases even though the county and city would've loved them to. If the big problem with cops is that they'll follow pozzed orders regardless that's not as much of a problem in non pozzed areas.

Nothing that I know of. A bad quarter? That’s usual for Twitter. Watch Square revenue instead and see if it has a reverse correlation to Twitter. Financial companies need predictable results, meaning they need an arm that can go good or bad on demand - read about GE (not that Twitter and Square are anything like the thing Welch built with GE Capital, but it’s instructive - every quarter’s projections hit within a cent or two).

Twitter said Tuesday it had posted a $537 million net loss in the third quarter after settling a lawsuit alleging investors were misled about slowing user growth.

The shareholders claimed board members sold stock at an "artificially inflated" price. The suit was filed the year after Twitter's shares tumbled in value as the company revealed lethargic growth.

Despite revenue rising sharply with the help of robust ad sales, Twitter still posted an operating loss of $743 million, fuelled by the more than $800 million settlement.

The 2016 federal suit filed by shareholders claimed the defendants, such as former CEO Dick Costolo, did not disclose the full picture of the company's state while they sold their personal stock in Twitter.

The shareholders claimed board members sold stock at an "artificially inflated" price. The suit was filed the year after Twitter's shares tumbled in value as the company revealed lethargic growth.

Despite the lawsuit costs, Twitter said third quarter revenue hit $1.3 billion, an increase of 37 percent over this time last year.

The company noted that advertising revenue reached $1.14 billion, which is 41 percent above 2020's third quarter results.

The lawsuit payouts means their Q3 financials is recording losses of 537 million. Meaning not only did they not make any money this quarter, they lost, and the amount is about half their yearly -revenue-. So they are down 75% of their total yearly revenue, which is well past the point of non-recoverable damages. This is on top of their Q1 and Q2 financials showing absolutely no gains and even narrow losses.

And Square reports results next week.

E: you’re an idiot if you take any financial advice from me since I’m just some autist posting in A&H, so don’t do that.

On Square, its worth noting that it's a company that is worth a lot on paper, but almost all of its assets aren't liquid, and cannot be converted. It considers a transaction of about 300 million to be a major purchase. So the losses from twitter are 'bad' for their parent company.

So basically, they want everyone sucking the teat of Big Phrama forever. Its the long game. Basically life as a service. And when the government can't get 97-98% vaccinated, they use that to justify going all authoritarian. Not that they're already taken a ton of authoritarian measures.
Holy shit i just got chills... this is really no different than "games as a service"

All the non-vaxers are "Free To Play" players while the people that keep getting boosters are the whales that keep buying "premium money" to get all the good shit that destroys the free players.
Of all the words written with paper and pen

The saddest are this:
"Kiwi Farms was right yet again." *sigh*

It is worth remembering through all this, that in all these experiments Fauci was just the bureaucrat that signed off on funding them. There were entire teams of scientists who were actually responsible for sourcing the puppies, monkeys and children (and whatever tomorrow's news day will bring) and then inflicting exorbitant amounts of suffering on them for little to no scientific gain.
It's barbaric, practically demonic too. This isnt some one way street where you can use and abuse something and go about your day. No.

To put it in simple terms, its like getting next to evil shit in 40k. It changes you and corrupts your soul. You do that long enough and you wont view people as people anymore.
