Incel and Lonely Men Debate thread - Defend men giving up or tell them otherwise

To me one of the most glaring issues about the Incel thing is that its basically a repeat of yesteryears "virgin". The problem with these kinds of insults is that a good amount of time they are "Confirmative" basically confirming the ideology every time they are used against one. To elaborate further, alot of my knowledge about incels comes down to the prominent idea of "If i dont have sex i cant enter into normal society" that has been prominent since the sexual revolution(?). Now if you call someone who believes such axiom a Virgin or Incel they of course go further down the rabbit hole as they are cast as the other because they dont have sex. In essence what i am trying to convey is the term in itself is "highly" dangerous to use as it basically propagates these ideas

Dating sites have certainly made it a lot more difficult for people to get into relationships, particularly younger people. They're basically glorified hook-up apps, and are naturally focused almost entirely on appearance as a result. Yet, people view these meat markets as one of the main ways to find yourself a partner in the current year for some reason, especially among younger people. It's strange.

Mild PL, but most people my age that I know use at least one of these, yet none of them ever seem to get successful relationships from these apps. It's almost always one night stands or relationships that fall apart in weeks. If these were the only examples of relationships someone had, I wouldn't be surprised if they went full incel (or femcel, for that matter), even if they were decently attractive in both personality and appearance.

Just checking in to see if anyone from the thread has gone postal yet. Most of you genetic dead ends have failed to reach adulthood by the age of 40 anyway and are doomed to die alone, I figure it's only a matter of time until a few more of you grab a shotgun and go all Randy Stair on us.
 
I don't really understand what an Incel is. Is it a real, evil subculture, or did the media make it up as a bogeyman to further hurt marginalized men?

I know that my brothers have worked hard and done everything society demands of men, and yet women still will not date them. These horrid millennial chicks think they're too good and deserve better. Even the ugly girls are like this.

Whereas I'm a complete fuckup and an asshole and so I get laid occasionally.

Genuine question*.

If a man (or woman) struggles to make platonic friends or suffers from social anxiety in group settings, he/she would not expect to mocked for whatever causes said anxiety.

Yet if man struggles to make an emotional/romantic connection with women, he is ripe for merciless evisceration for this type of shyness.

Why the difference in perception?

*caveat: men who identify as incels or indulge in autistic, overly-analytical manosphere pity parties deserve eveything they get. I’m talking about regular joes.

It’s pathetic but also entirely natural. Humans like to have sex, and lots of it. It’s one of the few primal urges that we don’t have instant gratification for; you’re able to get food on-demand, plenty of sleep, good shelter relatively easily. But almost nobody has instant access to sex because it requires another consenting party. So of course people will view easy access to it as something desirable.

To reiterate, you should try and move past this - to grow up and realize life is more than sticking your dick in someone - but for lots of people that just never happens, for better or for worse.

Not in the US. I would hire prostitutes if it was legal and safe. (Mandatory STD checks, etc.) I'm not going to risk some pimp mugging me or cops arresting me. In some parts of the country, arrested "johns" have their names and mugshots printed in the newspaper for maximum shaming and humiliation of the men.

So what you make it on the busted page. It's not the 40s and 50s anymore where you can lets say lose your job over getting arrested for some dumb shit.
No reward without the risk and whatnot. Or you can just roll up into a Asian Massage Parlor.

I have been pretty angry recently, and considered what I really have to lose. Not much, as it turns out. My freedom, basically. And the freedom to do what? Consume and play video games while I continue to take shit from everyone?

I don't really hate any particular person enough to actually harm them though. I don't think that I will ever act on all this anger, but it's definitely there.

I know men who have been in relationships, and the way the relationship stopped fucked them up so bad, they don't even bother dating anymore. Most of them are well adjusted.

Dating apps never worked out for me in the relationship department. Getting a decent relationship isn't like ordering uber eats. You can have amazing sex with someone and they're horrible relationship material.

Plus if you're considered unattractive, you can spend weeks on those apps swiping.
