I spent a good 23 seconds clicking on nonsense search results which all copy-pasted the same information. I can't figure why there would be legal fees in his case? Unless I missed something with his actual identity being stolen. Seemed like people just abused a loophole in the automated banking system to see his transactions. He didn't lose any money, no new accounts were opened in his name, he couldn't get approved for a credit card even if he someone tried. There was no monetary loss.

All he needed to do was change his bank account number and, if he really wanted, get a new social security number. The only way that would be $1,500 is if he was stupid enough to run crying to a lawyer and they did it for him. Given he can't even hang a coat rack, it wouldn't be unbelievable. He got scammed.

Assuming he's not lying. Which he is. Since the begathons started hugely missing their mark after Mass Effect, there's been mysterious $1,000+ bills coming in monthly.

Its a lie of course. I don't recall the leaks containing login info or account numbers and even if it did you don't need a lawyer to change your bank account info or password.

Just watched it because you said that and yes it was really lame.

However Phil probably jumped for joy seeing that Bugnsax announcement.

Now he can play this children game and complain about people "derailing" the stream as he rants about how mature and intricate Bugsnax is.

They're doing more than that. They blawked me even though all I did was a benign reply to another reply on one of their posts with absolutely nothing trollish about it. They are also pulling a phil and blawking accounts that never interacted with them.

What a nice round number from the lawyers, I'm sure Phil will outline just what the fuck 'cleaning up' identiy theft is supposed to involve but you better be sure that Phil needs money right now to pay it, don't ask the hows or whys, get those wallets open and spread the positivity already! And just in time for the halloween marathon! Expect a double-down of begging while Phil stuffs his mouth on camera and Kat is 'working late' for the fourth time this week.

Dude the legal system is so fucked up, they sent Phil a bill ON HIS DAY OFF, they didn’t give him a chance to respond! They should have tipped him on stream to let him know where he could berate them for derailing the stream, the dumb fucks, and email him at darksydephil@hotmail.com where they could discuss it behind-the-scenes.

I could see him doing one stream of the KoF 15 beta, spending just about the entire stream in Training mode, then play like 2 matches online and get his shit pushed in by real players and decide he doesn't like the game and won't be playing it in February. Getting to write off a game like this with a free beta seems like a good opportunity for him, then he doesn't have to spend $60 on it.

I want to really emphasize that there is not a single lawyer, outside of someone like personal injury lawyers, who work without a retainer, unless they work with low/no income clients. The idea that he would get a sudden and unexpected $1500 bill from a lawyer he hired is beyond stupid. That's on top of the fact that a fucking lawyer would have fuck-all to do with "identity theft" that didn't happen.

His lies aren't even believable anymore, especially with the bank information leaks.
