I want to really emphasize that there is not a single lawyer, outside of someone like personal injury lawyers, who work without a retainer, unless they work with low/no income clients. The idea that he would get a sudden and unexpected $1500 bill from a lawyer he hired is beyond stupid. That's on top of the fact that a fucking lawyer would have fuck-all to do with "identity theft" that didn't happen.

His lies aren't even believable anymore, especially with the bank information leaks.
What I find interesting is that he's attempting to exploit something in a way that actually lends credibility to the leaked information. I mean, why claim your security is compromised if the info is all bullshit? I find it especially hard to believe that Phil, of all people, would show such concern, in a situation where trolls were just making shit up. It's well established that he gets most riled up by things that are factual, even when he's able to refute them (sort of).

The info was legit, but Phil's not doing anything about it, merely putting on an act for his tards, more than likely. He may not like it when more evidence of his lies comes out, but he's still not about to take it seriously, even now that we're at a point where someone is willing to go this far to expose him. If he could do that, we wouldn't be here to begin with. We know the most he does about detractor channels and Twitter profiles is coax his tards into attacking them. He's way too lazy and chicken-shit to go any further.

That and timing with these is as bad as the timing of his "gifts", just happens to have a $1500 bill with a Halloween spergtacular coming...GEEE

He bitches about America so much but will never leave lmao

I spent a good 23 seconds clicking on nonsense search results which all copy-pasted the same information. I can't figure why there would be legal fees in his case? Unless I missed something with his actual identity being stolen.

I think he was charged $1,500 for a lawyer to request an apology from the bank, cause that's probably what happened, and he's gonna have to pay a lot more to get absoloutely nowhere

he really out here expecting a free lawyer and some kind of compensation, he's too used to receiving thousands of dollars when he's the victim and it's carried over into real life

dave probably had all these great ideas about finding the troll and desperately wanted something he could gloat about, but his lawyer's only point of contact was the bank, and the lawyer ain't gonna find whoever called, and I can guarantee the bank won't release any information about who called just cause some balding 40yr old wants justice, that information has to be subpoenaed

and who told this idiot victims get free legal counsel, this guy has watched too many movies

Wouldn't let me upload for some odd reason.

Lawyer: "Set up security so it asks for the last 3 numbers on the back of your card"

Phil: "Wow ! BOA you want me to run your banking company for you ?!?"

Lawyer: "That'll be $1500.?"

Then Phil woke up and had his new begement figured out.

Happy Halloween 🎃 right guys ?

Lmao

I wouldn't be completely surprised if Phil ended up in a "Rob Bell" situation where the lawyer was willing to spend the exceptional individual's money to do legal research that ends up with "Nothing you can do".
That, I could believe. But even there, the lawyer would get at least some money up front, even if they then stretched their billable hours out and charged him more. And we all know Phil isn't going to waste hundreds of dollars on some egghead lawyer when he could make some pulls.

He's a spendthrift but he's also notoriously stingy for anything that doesn't involve his immediate personal comfort. He's not blowing more than a grand on a lawyer if he can help it.

Can anybody explain where legal fees would even come into this situation?

I've never experienced it myself, but the people I know who've been in similar situations with identity fraud/theft usually just deal with the bank itself and set up extra security measures to prevent it from happening again.
None unless Phil got fucking ripped off by some LifeLock scam bullshit. It's not like he's a grandma who got duped by some Indian phone scammer who went on to do the needful for 6 straight months before someone caught it, and I'm interested in hearing what bullshit he comes up with to explain the expenses. My guess? It's none of your business, nuhuhuh.

Imagine you're one of DSPs fans (OIC, sit down). You hear Phil spout out how he needs money for these sudden bills, and with no explanation as to how these bills arrived, or their breakdown. You simply have to give him money to pay for these bills. What do you get in return? Questionable content that involves him not engaging his audience, lashing out at those who offer suggestions, banning those who ask the wrong legitimate questions, and nonstop begging for money, even after receiving said money.

Ask yourself this: What the fuck is wrong with you that you keep coming back to this detritus, and putting up with his bullshit excuses to beg for money?

Another bad thing happened to Dave during his day off? And it'll cost $1000-$2000 to fix?

No way, imagine my surprise. Poor Dave can't catch a break, I hope some kind souls will step up and lend a helping hand.

He not even trying at this point. He knows it's a lie, we know it's a lie and I guess most of the paypigs know it's a lie.

Phill for fuck sake put in a bit of effort mate, this is becoming way to predictable you have to jazz up the script if you want people to stay engaged.

Legal fees is just meaningless in this context and every context DSP uses that term. It's a mixture of his poor vocabulary and his grift. His identity wasn't ever stolen either so it's completely moot.

I really don't see what legal services he'd be pursuing. The cops are gonna investigate as much as they can. What could a lawyer even tell him/do for him? It's not like he needs legal protection, unless he's worried about tax/bankruptcy stuff but I doubt the government could use stolen evidence against him. It's just such a paper-thin premise, but the whales will buy it. They don't even need a full story at this point, being wheelchairs all they need are a few keywords to rally around.

At this point I have to just accept he's an addict, and let that answer the mind boggling questions that arise from his behavior. When you see these incredulous lies your mind balks, and you think "How could he think anyone would believe this?" and shit like that, but dude, he's just like a junky who would take money from their mother's purse, or pawn their TV, make up stories to get money from family. It really is just that sort of situation, except it's his audience rather than his family, it's a wheelchair's disability check rather than his mom's purse. It's really fucking sad in that context, gacha is such a low, laughable sort of addiction that you forget and just wonder why he can't stop, but it's probably the same centers of the brain so the resultant behavior is exactly the same. It's irrational sounding because he's just in a psychological frenzy pursuing his addiction, and he knows from experience how much money he needs for the low-odds pulls and he's not relaxed until he has more than enough 😥
