He defended a client who raped their own daughter (sorry about pronoun fuckery, trying to be clear)... he's had clients go to prison before
He was brought in to cover for the rapist's actual lawyer when the lawyer couldn't make it in time.

So while he did do defense work for the rapist, he wasn't main counsel.

And his "defense" was literally just to come and be the guy's lawyer for his guilty plea.

Which, if you've heard him talk about it, is pretty heavy stuff. Apparently in MN to plead guilty you have to explain in your own words every aspect of your crimes so that the state knows you understand what you're being convicted of. Hearing the guy explain what he did to his daughter? That's gotta be rough.

I distinctly remember Nick ask, when he was questioning the guy, "what color was [your daughter's] underwear."

I think he drank pretty heavily that stream.

I watched part of last night's stream re: Greer but I don't think I'm going to finish it so give me alarm clocks if this point ever comes up later in the show, but…

On these reality shows, they do background checks on contestants before they let them on the show. They're really not interested in featuring a guy and then having it be found out that they gave a stage to a rapist or a wifebeater or something like that. I'm pretty sure Greer's arrest and conviction for stalking would disqualify him from appearing on this show or any of the ones like it. Maybe even the arrest back in high school would have as well. We don't know for sure that he got far enough that the production company actually did a check on him, but it could be a plausible defense for them, I think.

(But maybe the timeline doesn't add up… Did this all go down before his conviction?)

There actually was a time a serial killer appeared on The Dating Game, though to be fair he hadn't been busted yet at the time.

I don't understand how he stopped reading the latest greer filing just to turn back to mountain jew drama. I know both are exceptional individuals but hearing her and her husband(?) bleat about the term 'color of law' wrong has to get tiring after the third hour or so.
I do wish he'd get through the documents in both of those cases.

The realization that Iran is going to sweep away the jews to jewland must have been too much for Nick. He needs to find a crack in their impeccable logic for the sake of his sanity.

Tonight's show is going to be fun. Ron and Monica broke up apparently and I hope Nick has a field day with it.
I'm going to gently pump the brakes. So far the only real evidence we have is that Ron is buying a house with a mortgage that doesn't have Monica's name on it, and frankly it'd be fucking stupid for Monica to co-sign the mortgage considering that they're not actually married. That being said, they did co-sign on the last one, so...

It's in no way confirmed, but it'd be infinitely funny if true, and I do want to believe it.

Yeah for as funny as it is, we should calm down a tiny bit. I remember the Shadman thread was fetuared this year because he alledgely trooned out when it was 100% false
