She saved herself pretty well so if shit hits the fan someday i hope most people will not try to drag her into it.

Mel's roommate (Rika) released a preview video for her new album, was a bit surprised to see this in the credits:

First time I've seen Holo roommates working together like this. Not sure whether she was actually involved with the production, or just helped to get FAKE TYPE involved with the song? Either way I thought it was pretty interesting. I really like some of the music too, seems like she has been working hard on this. (also noteworthy: Kagura Nana contributed an illustration for the album, and LAM drew the cover art)

Maybe this was the animation job she talked about in her last drawing stream.

Nadeshiko/Nadechama is small PNGtuber (getting live2d this sunday) whose streams consists of mostly zatsudans and drawing streams, since she didnt have her own PC till recently.
I believe shes a westaboo and knows a lot about western meme, her small fanbase overlaps a lot with Beatani and Pippa

Summing it up a bit: being a part of Hololive does not guarantee success. Being a part of Hololive guarantees attention. Attention + talent = success. (in the unique case of streamers, I would argue "likeable engaging personality" is a type of "talent")

When you have a healthy lifestyle you are grateful if you have 1 to 2 hours in order to play everyday.

Maybe if you have children. Otherwise, only 1-2 hours of free time to use as you see fit, sounds pretty unhealthy.

You could argue that Trash Taste being a successful podcast despite being hosted by unlikeable, talentless cunts is the peak of hypocrisy for what he's saying.

I can't disagree with that. Talent at marketing is not the same as talent in content.

That was hilarious. I'm hoping to see some clips of IRyS being clueless in that collab (probably exist already, haven't looked). Peak for me was that she pronounced Hades as "Haids", and that lead to Baelz trolling her about the pronunciation of other Greek and Roman figures.

Choco-sensei only recently broke 150k in 3 years, and Mel just over 110k they both make more in their day jobs and it's not because they're bad streamers but the brand name alone doesnt bring you instant success. Spare me any argument you want to make about them being less popular or well known or anything because it's all true of AkiRose too and she is near $450k.

There are a lot more people who are open to spend 5$ a month to join a membership than there are people who are willing to spend 5$ on a superchat. As stupid as it sounds, I'm willing to bet that this rings true to a lot of people. And those memberships aren't counted by sites like Socialblade or Playboard. There isn't even an accurate way of gauging memberships outside of when someone puts out a poll, and even that is wildly inaccurate.

Connor can honestly go fuck himself for what he said in that clip, anyone claiming that even a single member in Hololive isn't talented can go right off and do that. But taking only superchats into account isn't the best way to do gauge popularity.

It could just be conjecture but some examples of the risks that such a leak could have happened: 1) that one statue where Karen and Sydsnap took their own pics of, you can almost put 2 and 2 together. 2) one of these dumbfucks (pretty sure it was Cannur too) called Hime Sydsnap. Given it is literally the worst kept secret, even more so than kson imho, if this had happened and Vshojo was a JP corpo, it would have been a massive shit show. Such faux pas is a massive nono. There would have been all kind of hell to pay I feel.
