It boggled my mind how they go on and on about 'social issues' then waste over $10,000 in crowdfunded money to get their dick removed.

The media personality tranny co-opting of terms designated for eccentric short people like "goblin" is never gonna stop irritating my autistic, er I mean " N E U R O D I V E R G E N T " ass. Sure, there's probably some short trannies out there, but Jim, as well as a lot of the louder ones I see fit the "ogre" thing more than "goblin" in terms of joking terms. Although, that's somewhat disrespectful to ogres too.
Also lmao at the "gendertrash" thing. It's like a big chungus 2.0 situation where Jim claims to have made it up on his own. Unlike that the terms been used in something significant enough that you can easily see it's been around for decades instead of what chungus had which was just one of many nonsense words people use to describe various vague things in a funny manner (that apperently has weird ancient hebrew origins but thats another story).

I just realized that all of Jim's videos are about himself, and not really about the gaming industry. His whole channel is really just a blog channel and not a news channel. That's why he sticks his face on the thumbnails, and not anything gaming related.

Anyway, thanks angry tree rant, that podcast was one I always knew was going on in the background but had absolutely no interest in actually listening to, even just in order to find out what it was.
While Conrad isn't quite as bad as the absolute loon Dale, he's not even-keeled enough to balance the other two out (which is why I also quit listening to the podcast and pretty much anything else when Gavin left). I think that's really when things went off the rails for Jim but maybe it was the other way around and Jim sinking deeper into fetishism and political sperging got rid of Gavin who saw what was coming.

So I listen to Gavin's music (that is actually the big difference between him and the rest of Jim's circle, he's a musician who immersed himself in "geek culture" rather than some journalist), and I keep an eye on his social medias to see when new stuff is coming, and things have been really slow lately with him.
He's been stepping away from the internet more and more, and he's clearly happier for it, IIRC he got married, he's having a nice life with his wife, he plays his music at bars when able to, he might even have a kid on the way that he's keeping quiet. The big thing is though, he no longer wants fame, he just wants to make music about the things he loves and share it. We're now into the second year without a new album from him, I used to buy myself a Christmas present of his yearly album every year to support an artist I liked, so the fact he's not making music really sticks out to me.
Politically, he's left leaning, but only slightly more than myself, so I find his politics tolerable, but I know he is pro-LGBTQWERTY, even if he's quite straight himself. He clearly loves what he does, and the people who make the games and movies that inspire him, but he has had to speak out many times against being associated with Jim's and LKD's psychotic hatred of big companies, as he actually relies on being on good terms with them for his business. I know through my own business connections he was losing business opportunities because of them and I even spoke up for him to save him from getting cut off by a business partner once. Jim and LKD were damaging to his career, and based on a few things he's said over the years I think he believes in trans rights and treating trans people with respect and dignity, but he also seems to be skeptical of some people's transness (and I think it was Jim's transition was the start of). A position I share, a bit of a "trans people are fine and cool by me, but fuck those degenerate fucking troons" mind set.

What makes me laugh is that hes fine with this but throws a shitfit over supposed "transphobic" games like cyberpunk 77 which had the audacity to show a tranny on a poster (he and LKD accused the game of "fetishizing transpeople") and (apparently from what I read, not played the game but he complained about this too) lets you choose your own "gender" aka you can be a chick with a dick too! Seriously as insufferable as he is I would respect him more if he at least picked a side-shouldnt he be happy that transpeople are being represented in games, even if its in a sexual manner as he himself wont shut up about being a degenerate gender trash person?

I honestly can't wrap my head around the troon response to the article. It was pretty neutral and if anything was too soft and didn't mention the disgusting shit some of these degenerates get up to that we see on the daily. So what part of it exactly was transphobic or whatever?
Is the tranny position basically that because it mentions trans people in any negative context it's unacceptable? That is beyond fucked up and even a child could see why.
