Y'know I love listening to Trash Taste Podcast, but their takes on Hololive in this instance and in the previous one where Garnt compared them to VShojo's just plain wrong. Garnt said he started leaning into VShojo more than Hololive because he didn't like the idol aspects of Hololive. Well just two problems:
1. Why didn't that filter him before?
2. What specifically about them being an idol agency have caused their stream quality to degrade, or for end viewers' enjoyment to degrade?
For me, I enjoy Hololive not because I'm into idols, but because I think they're fantastic, entertaining streamers. Them being idol notwithstanding.

Apparently I missed so dumb shit. Okay so this feels like it's worded like a dumb hypothetical. "You don't have to be good streamer to be successful in HoloLive" okay, let's say that's true, which it isn't. HoloLive will help a lot but you'll sink if you're a bad streamer. Even if that's true it's a pointless hypothetical because HoloLive doesn't hire people who can't stream. All of HoloEN (Myth, IRyS, and Council; with the exception of maybe Calli) had streaming experience prior to HoloLive, Ame streaming since 2016. So it's not even sensible to bring this up and feels like starting shit for no reason. And the fact Ironmouse was clearly uncomfortable makes it so much worse

At this point I'm starting to feel like Scuttle takes more shit than Nolan. For what's it's worth, I don't always agree with every one of his hot takes, but I'm not gonna nitpick every little thing and start sperging at him.
Especially since he can put in a good word for me with nijisanji talent scouts.
