Can anyone give me a decent “de-ripleyed” chain of events? I know he’s an obvious liar but I’m really having trouble piecing together his story because it keeps changing it.
What was it that he had to walk through a FedEx to get to the convention and the FedEx people kicked him out for being a degenerate and the convention followed suit?
Ripley's story has changed multiple times, but this is the timeline we've been able to piece together using his version of events, other people's tweets, and common sense with Ripley's history:
Thursday
Ripley arrives at the convention. He is wearing a hat from a babyfur company with a childish character on it, a furry convention t-shirt, and a diaper under short shorts.
At 3 PM, he goes to FedEx on the hotel property which has a copy shop. He attempts to get a badge of his fursona printed. He makes it to the front of the line, does not have the image ready, and has to search his phone. During this time he is holding the line up, fucking around, trying to find the image and fails three times to forward an e-mail to the FedEx store to print it, which takes 15-20 minutes.
At some point, the employees of FedEx ask him to step aside but "misgender" him, and a meltdown begins. FedEx staff refuse to respect his pronouns and push back, allegedly calling him a "pedo" at some point, probably because of his attire. His behavior becomes so out-of-hand that the FedEx is actually closed early, and staff are escorted by hotel security to their cars to leave. Ripley heads to convention security to complain about FedEx employees being "transphobic", then calls FedEx corporate to file a "hatred report".
Our suspicion is that he was actually trespassed by the hotel, but he leaves before they can get him.
Friday
Friday is uneventful. He claims he was "knocked over" on an escalator and screamed at by a "cis man" but no evidence of this exists and he chronically lies about shit for attention so who knows.
Saturday
Things get a little muddy from here because Ripley refuses to give an accurate timeline, but a lot happens.
Rioley, a vegan, goes to Johnny Rockets (a restaurant that serves only burgers, chicken, and milkshakes) on hotel property for lunch. He eats, pays, and the waiter says "have a good day, sir". Of course, this triggers another total meltdown. He flips out and storms out of the restaurant because he was called "sir". Our suspicion is that this alerts hotel staff to him being back on the property.
Ripley heads back to the convention area and goes to the convention security office, where he complains about Johnny Rockets staff being "transphobic". For whatever reason, he once again believes that convention staff have power over hotel employees.
He heads to the hotel exit, walking past the FedEx location he was likely trespassed from. He specifically states he never enters the FedEx, but also states he "informs" staff he filed a "hatred report". We assume he screamed it at them from the hallway.
As he exits the hotel, he is confronted by hotel security, and (allegedly) both the con's chairman and chief of security. Ripley is given a verbal trespass by hotel security and told to leave, then has his badge confiscated by con security. He claims that there was absolutely no reason given for this trespass; they just happened to be roaming the hotel, saw he was trans, and kicked him out. Notably, none of the dozens (if not
hundreds) of other trans people experience this happening.
Only Ripley.
Sunday
Ripley kicks off the pity party, posting his claim that the convention, which is one of the most pro-trans events in recent history, is "transphobic" and banned him for "no reason" other than being "too trans". He states he is in a motel off-property. It is unclear if he has been there the whole time, or only after getting trespassed by the hotel. He spends 30+ hours straight tweeting about it, getting in slap fights, and screaming about "transphobia" and "ableism".
