Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Dubya was on the slow side, but he still could make appearances passable and he could still dodge a shoe thrown at him like a bawse.

This video will always make me give Tucker the benefit of the doubt. Sure, he's a creature like the rest of 'em. But I can't see a single other media figure responding to a confrontation by a normal person like Tucker did in this video. Chris Cuomo threatened to beat up the people who confronted and filmed him, for instance.

Too much money has been spent on AOC to basically toss her into the wastebin. I've mentioned this before, if she ever loses her House seat, they'll just run her for Governor or Senate with the end goal for AOC being President or a new Bernie Sanders once Bernie dies.

MAD still is in effect. Nuking us would cause the US to lash out like a wild animal with rabies and the rest of the world knows damn well that we'd retaliate twice-fold AND drag all of our allies down the same hell with us and whoever nuked us.

Think the chain of events that led to WW1. Attacking the US at this moment would be akin to shooting the Archduke and Austria-Hungary basically setting off the slaughterhouse that was the first world war.

I dont trust the Chinese to be that smart. Russians? Oh yeah they are staying the hell away from even thinking that, and nobody else is arrogant or stupid enough to try it. Chinese? They have a history of making bad judgement calls.

Quite frankly the one thing holding them back from going nuts is the fact they are in the middle of a internal power struggle over succession and all the various distractions on their borders. I can see Xi or his successor going scorched earth if they feel trapped like a rat.

Taiwan is the powder keg. They are very very obsessed with it. Beyond rationality, beyond the need for resources, Its a matter of national pride. Its like... It's like dirt under your nails or in your eye, its an irritation that must be dealt with.
