Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

You think Chris is proud of his e-fame deep down inside? As nobody would even care about or notice him otherwise?
I think his feelings have become more complex over the years. He appears to grudgingly accept the fact that a large proportion of his fame is negative, though he clearly believes he has a large number of people who genuinely admire him. His eBay business relies entirely on his e-fame, so evidently the money he makes is worth more than any hassle he gets from his celebrity status. And I think he likes the fact that he can broadcast his thoughts to a lot of people via Facebook.

Random theory, but I think maybe he's mellowed towards his e-fame because he has a social life now with people who apparently treat him well. It's no longer the case that the only people he has contact with are trolls, Jerkops, Rocky and Barb. I'd imagine that sugars the pill a fair bit.

I wonder how does Chris feel about those Gotta Go Fast / Dumb Running Sonic / Sanic memes.

If he's given them more than a passing glance, I would say they confuse him. He doesn't understand that they're meant to be a joke. Chris just thinks "man, people sure suck at drawing sonic, Unlike Myself, who is an absolute Master at it!"

Chris doesn't understand much humor past, say, slapstick or references to bodily functions.

I got a thought/situation (not sure where else to post it, and I hope it goes well in this thread.)

You are trapped in an elevator, alone with Chris. The security camera and the doors are broken, and it is uncertain when rescue will arrive. The only rule during that period is that you cannot kill or physically injure Chris. What would you do?
Shit myself and do nothing.

Besides watching AoStH (and possibly SatAM), has he ever watched any other Sonic-related media back in the late 90s and early 2000s? Like; the OVA, Sonic X, and/or Underground? (I know Boom doesn't count for obvious reasons, already)

He's seen Sonic X. He once made a post where he mentioned that he thought his voice sounded like Sonic from anywhere, including Sonic X.

He said he was going to watch Sonic Boom a couple weeks ago, after he found out that Sonic's design would use the original arm color for an upcoming game.

One thing I'm sure we're all concerned about: if Chris will start watching Sonic Boom, how will he deal with the sensory overload?

Back myself into a corner and use my legs to kick him away if he gets too close. Then when we're rescued I'll go find the nearest shower and get the horrid grime and grease from him off.

I have often wondered if Chris is aware that hedgehogs are real creatures, and not magical beasts invented by Sega.

I have never thought about it but it raises a interesting question, maybe @Marvin could shed some light on that.

Edit to add: I mean I am sure he has some form of vague awareness that they exist but isn't really aware of them in any detail, but I have wondered if he thinks Pokemon or something alike exist in some fashion (not talking about that cartoon world bollox).

He might've had an inkling when in the course of his research he found out there are no wikipedia pages for the Mankey's sexual habits

Has the first person who found Chris ever come forward?
In a way, yes:

I actually met Chris-chan at an anime convention before ED found out about him and started trolling him en masse. A friend and I were hosting a Sonic the Hedgehog panel and trying to prove that not all Sonic fans are as batshit insane as they’re made out to be.
That noble goal was shot to hell when the one-and-only Christian Weston Chandler arrived in all his clown-shirted, Sonichu-medallion-wearing glory and started handing out free copies of his first issue. He asked us a completely unintelligible question (thinking mistakenly that we actually had some influence on the series as a whole), and afterwards he babbled at us personally while we smiled and nodded trying to look interested. We obviously knew he was mentally ill, but we had no idea that we were meeting a future Internet legend.
Now, I still persist in my goal to prove that some Sonic fans are decent, intelligent people. And despite all the flamewars, recolors, and assorted drama that the Sonic series has caused, I still love it and will defend from haters till my dying breath. I am an unabashed, true blue Sonic fan, die-hardest of the die-hard, and nothing will ever change that.
But Lord, Chris-chan comes very close to ruining it all for even me, and that should tell you something.
