I know right? I once got voted off after I had objectively proven I was on the good team (i was psychic) by tellling one of the people they were on my side and they could see on screen they were on the good team and I as a psychic knew this and told them. He believed me and agreed… and then voted me off anyway along with everyone else.

I would’ve been mad at this session if it wasn’t for the fact that one of the players in the beginning said they were going afk and it turned out they were the killer for the whole game and pretending.

yeah i've experinced something like that too , i really want an murder mystery game on roblox without an children filled game.
it's an shame.

Roblox isn't the mega money maker it seems like it would be.

Their stock hasn't even stayed at a stable rise and has pretty much crashed to it's value when they launched it. Roblox has also admitted repeatedly that they are still attempting to turn a profit that's useful for more than just keeping the platform afloat.

The 'powers that be' couldn't give less of a fuck about Roblox anyway. Purely social media is a lot more useful and isn't sold almost purely as a platform for children. It's why Discord makes more money, well that and it's actually useful for something other than games. If Discord had sold itself as a social media for kids then they'd be in a lot deeper shit, less plausible deniability.

Didn't think anybody in here would know about Shovelware Studios. That group puts wayy too much effort into elaborate shitposts. They even have a fucking original soundtrack. Shame to see that they haven't posted for a while.

That's more or less why I'm kind of disappointed with the site. There's a bunch of solid games and it has the potential for some more cool games as well. I'm an avid fan of games that give you a lot of weapons to work with like Elemental Battlegrounds, Catalog Gear Place, and Infinite Welfare.

A lot of the older playerbase tends to stick around for longer as far as I know. Rogue Lineage, despite being both a fairly difficult game and requiring you to buy it for $5, has people who actively play it. You can check here for its playercount. As of the time of this post, it has about 1.7k players on it. This is comparable to games with playercounts around the #300 mark on Steam. Not that bad.

Why the hell is Squid Game so popular on roblox? I played the game myself and it was just a series of minigames that were ripped from the series (one of which you can cheese by spamming one of the two options).

People see something trendy, even if they never watched it themselves, or even if they're kids who think it's "too scary", and want to participate in the trend for the sole purpose of having participated in the trend. if it was "Squid Game Clicker Obby Tycoon" instead it would still be popular because it can ride off the name recognition alone, these kids will play anything if it has the right skin over it.

Does this image ring a bell for anybody? This is the thumbnail from the game Veszteseg, which is one of several surreal games made by a group known as MUGEN.



Recently, the creator was exposed as having done some nasty shit in a document. I did a quick readover and, from what I understood, the MUGEN creator accused a 15 year old of being a pedophile as well as an entire community of people known as the myth community of being pedophiles. Mind you, this guy also asked a 16 year old for pornographic material, so they were probably trying to draw attention away from the latter by accusing a bunch of other people as being pedophiles.
It's honestly really sad seeing the dude have to go this route. I really liked the surreal stuff MUGEN has made. Same with the fan content (even if it's FNF of all things). I hope people try to recreate games like the ones in the MUGEN group and stray away from the creator, like how the developers of Project Submus Accudo did after Critical Strike's developer was outed as a predator. I know there's a few MUGEN-like games such as Gombok and cheese bread, so there could be hope for more MUGEN-likes in the future that aren't associated with the original MUGEN developer.

The site’s currently crawling toward its 40th hour of down time if DownDetector is a decent indicator for this.

The most reasonable explanation I’ve seen so far is that the site’s supposedly being crippled via DDoS, but thinking a current Chipotle-sponsored event brought in more site traffic than they could handle is much funnier so I’m believing that until further notice.

Some people are speculating that it's just Roblox having really shitty infrastructure and having never really "shut down" before. (Thus having a hell of a time trying to restart it all with potential circular server dependancies, shitty scripts etc etc.)
