I was watching older tv shoes recently. Like The Wire and True Detective. The characters (especially the blacks) joke about prison rape. The season 3 true detective, uh, detective, is extremely blunt with it.

That's just one example. There's one or two even more extreme examples in the show I cant find.

the only mention of it in the wire that i remember is chris bringing it up before killing michaels stepdad (who is implied to be molesting him)

Baked would take that deal in a heartbeat and view it as a net positive. More attention. More clicks. More money.

As to sentencing, I am not aware of Baked having any previous convictions. If not, I would be surprised if he was sentenced to more than a month in jail. I am guessing two weeks. Probation will be the real killer for him.

Good catch. Duh. He wouldn't have been disqualified by resigning in disgrace though. I'd guess the 25th might also permanently disqualify you if you were actually removed from office rather than just being temporarily replaced during some temporary illness, but again, nobody has been disqualified under that that way.

If they were going to be lenient and everyone thought that, he'd have just been sentenced directly from the bench immediately after the last part of the trial. In fact, the judge offered to do that. Nobody wanted it.

I am happy that Baked is finally going to receive some form of punishment for his horrible behavior towards others. It unfortunately won't be enough. Even the maximum sentence is too lenient for what he deserves.

I would say that I look forward to whatever the next legal problem is for him, but at this point I do not want things to continue to escalate with him. I know he eventually will though.

Regarding Baked, I genuinely hope that the law won't be too harsh on him, and Bubba won't get enough time to stretch his ass too much. I may dislike him as a person, but the Capitol event was epic, and everyone who participated there should be pardoned and gifted a t-shirt "I trolled the government so hard that I almost got jailed for terrorism".
