Hey what do you think about the new Dune movie?
You won't get an answer out of her so maybe I'll start. While the one directed by David Lynch doesn't have a big following and isn't remembered too fondly it'll always have a special place in my heart. But for a modern movie the new one was more than OK - an eye candy with serviceable adaptation of the story that doesn't bring modern day politics to the forefront. I quite enjoyed it.

It was ambitious but deeply flawed, and while a terrible adaptation, was a pretty good movie overall if viewed on its own merits. Also Kenneth McMillan will always be my Baron Harkonnen.

The source material is not the easiest to adapt, with the first couple dozen pages being pretty much all about political situation. I of course meant the new one being a serviceable adaptation. Then I would be really disappointed if Lynch made a faithful adaptation of any source material.

I fucking loved the 1984 David Lynch Dune movie as a little kid. It came out a little bit before my time, but when I was 10 or so one of my dad's engineer co-workers was babysitting us and showed us Dune. It blew my 10 year old mind. I watched that 4 hour movie over and over down through the years, past adolescence even into adulthood where I finally read the books as well. I'm still not sure what fascinates me so much about it. I felt very strongly like it was trying to tell me something important, even though it wasn't real. Frank Herbert was the original "world builder", he created a whole universe to get some of these points of his across. It's really such a fucking weird movie when you watch it as an adult, you can tell I was definitely one weird kid. I wound up here, after all. I won't have time to see the new one for a while still, unfortunately.

It's really fucking strange to me that the release was held back a whole year due to covid and Dune is coming out now. I'm in a very strange place in my life right now, I just might be about to beat the whole fucking game. Losing or failing seems rather implausible at this point, but you never know. Chaos is always boiling just beneath the surface of everything, "the best laid plans..."
I already have the next thing lined up if this one doesn't work out anyway. As long as my mind and body continue to function more or less how they've always functioned, the big win is inevitable. I'm definitely sending more funds Null's way just as soon as it isn't as inconvenient for me as it is right now. If he can take this wretched cunt down a peg or two, I'm totally becoming his "pay pig", idgaf.

You should be in the right mindset if you feel strongly about the franchise and be ready for disappointment. Most franchises I hold dear tend to disappoint with their returns. Hellraiser sinks deeper into a septic tank with every new movie, Nightmare on Elm Street farted out miserable remake and then died, X-Files had some moments but went too far into meta\comedy territory, new Blade Runner was rather mediocre (then again I read the follow-up novel and that was the story of what happened next for me for way too long), Star Wars was a farce (but again I may be biased after reading the novels). The only thing I'm fully satisfied with is probably Godzilla (Japanese line) - Shin was amazing, second only to the original from 1954 in my opinion.

I would argue being a welfare queen and leech on society isn't really a grift.
There are other things that one can interpret as grift - like using Andrew's affection (sure, expressed in a creepy way but still affection) to get some of his money or the GoFundMe campaign for the book that's already published, just to give copies away or donate to charities.

No one knows.

That's why it's improper to say that only the line of Judah has a claim to the Torah and the land of Israel.
The only Jew DNA you've got is Sephardic because you keep getting knocked up by stinky beaners. Your genes are filth, you have admitted to being a mix of filthy europoor and britfag family, you are disgusting. Go back to the jungle Sambo, the tigers are waiting for you to chuck spears at them. And by spears I mean your children.

If Melinda ever got a DNA test, she would probably start screaming at the person administering the test and calling them a liar like that Rekeita and Hardin. She doesn't like it when facts destroy the fantasy she has created

Oh wonderful. She still thinks Null lives with his mom.

that gofundme still makes me cackle. “Please give me money so I can donate copies of my book about outdoor recreation to homeless people. Who live outside.”

I don’t know about “terrible” adaptation, I need to reread it but while it had some pretty glaring flaws it seemed acceptable at least for a two and a half hour adaptation of the first half of the book, I can only think of a handful of major fuckups, which puts it miles ahead of most book adaptations

@TamarYaelBatYah When you take your underwear off do you get those crusty, white stains on the vagina part of the underwear? I've seen women take undies off and many times theres like that stain of whatever that liquid is. Is it dried vaginal fluid from when women get randomly wet from horniness throughout the day? Or is it just sweaty, vaginal discharge?

Happy Halloween. What did you dress up as? I dressed up as a Prolapsed Ass.

She hates it because she can't afford to go to the movies. Nor can she afford a computer and internet to pirate the movie online. So instead she just went and smoked some meth with Marshall.

Melinda rating on the movie 8.5/10
I actually bought movie tickets to One Piece Movie Strong World tonight. I have the damn movie pirated anyways, but I wanted to take my kids to see it in the theatre. $57 just for the tickets. I'm going to have to drive 2.5 hours each way to get to the theatre. The kids will be hungry by the time we get there so we will probably eat out. They are kids so they will each have to go to the bathroom at least once during the film. They are kids so when one goes I will have to drag the rest with us and at least one will need to take a thirty minute shit. We will get to see like half a movie. It will still be fun and memorable for them though, so it is worth it. For two movie trips I could easily buy a computer and use McDonalds wifi to download anything ever. Too bad for Melinda's kids that she is too preoccupied with suing jersh to even give a shit about them.

A Melinda Scott version of that podcast would be like a minute long by just calling everyone a liar and screaming not convinced. Maybe by episode 15 we might get her reeing really hard if she records it during Null's collection

If Melinda could figure out how to do a podcast it would just be minutes long temper tantrum probably followed by crying as the feed cuts off

She figured out how to call in to Rekeita's stream. If she can do that she could certainly start her own. The only thing is that it would be so boring that no one would listen. Juvenescence outdoors page 27 point 5. Costume Play. It's called Cosplay bitch, and is that really an outdoor activity?

Maybe back when kids were still allowed to play cowboy and indians without the media getting involved and calling you a Nazi

So Melinda here charges $10 for "meet and greets" yet comes to entertain us for free. Why should people pay you when the monkey dances to our whims?
