  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.

Or he could just emulate it for free,

classic horror games have gone up in price ever since everyone and their mother did a video aNAlySiS on why X game is the best thing since sliced bread.

I would have mentioned that, but this is Phil were talking about. Setting up a PS1 emulator is too much effort for him. Even for the ones that have made it as simple as ever without plugin fuckery.

I am looking for videos/pictures of DSP where you can see his body (not just sitting in a fucking chair) for a photoshop. Can you guys send me some? (PMs would better to not spam the thread)

However, I found this amazing thumbnail.
I think we have to watch @Agent Proper's stream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euKXRn-GnmM

His old green screen stuff is probably the best you will get for full body. Or sift through some of his vlogs.

You are 1000% correct, no more challenging retro games for The King of Retro, only a future wasteland of modern walking sims and gouty hooves failing quicktime events. Also the error code supposedly:

Could easily google an error. Also he could of course solve the problem, as "nothing I could do fixes" means he tried rebooting it once, asked someone on Twitter or in his secret discord and then acted like it was their fault when it didn't work.

Edit: It's a fucking network error. Either he's too lazy to figure out his new wifi password, won't try restarting the router, and probably hasn't tried any fixes. This is usually the most basic, fixable error he could have gotten. Even if it is a more complex solve, it is the farthest thing from "bricked" but in pigraoch that just means "requires effort". I know getting angry at PP has fallen out of fashion here, but laziness and justifying it in such an arrogant mater-of-fact way has to be one of the more infuriating character traits I've ever encountered. I'm convinced Phil is a divine instrument sent here to instruct us how not to live.

A few weeks ago Sony announced they were ending new game purchases/downloads for the PS3 and Vita on Oct 27. I'm sure this is a related error.

Don't know why it won't let me reply to the dude talking about his gambling addiction, but no, Scopely is not obligated to lock his account if he has an addiction, like all online casinos are required to do as are traditional casinos. Also, signing up does not require an ID like casino sites, so it would basically be pointless. This is the benefit of not having any cash rewards, and keeping it all "in-game". This is also a big problem with those ULTRA-shady Crypto-Casinos that have popped up recently that all the big Twitch streamers are playing, and getting sponsored by. They're offshore and don't abide by our regulations, so they don't have to provide services for addicts like US companies. The gacha model is perfectly built to circumvent gambling laws, especially those set up to protect addicts. I wouldn't be surprised if some recovered gambling addicts who were saved by account locks ended up getting hooked on gacha.

Very interesting to hear about gambling addiction from the horse's mouth, glad you are better now. You brought up another point, Phil can never cash out the value he has sunk into WWE Champions. Despite how unlikely it is for a gambling addict to cash out, that seems to be a part of the "social contract" of casinos, there's always the chance to walk away at any point, when you're up, not too down, which makes it a more fair arrangement and puts more onus on the player for losing their money so many times over. Phil only has to spend his money once and it's gone forever.

Looks like backlash nixxed that particular customer-fucking move. What that weird Pajeet article you linked is referring to is adding new Paypal info etc via the store on the console, which would not cause Phil's basic connectivity error. You can still add it via the PSN mobile app, online, or even on a PS5 I think:
https://www.theverge.com/2021/10/6/22713526/sony-ps3-vita-buy-games-credit-debit-card-paypal

What that article would more likely indicate is Phil hitting the purchasing roadblock, not being able to figure it out in 5 minutes, throwing his hooves up and just pulling the ethernet cable out lol.

There should be a legal limit to how much a top tier gacha account can be worth. Make it like, 6k/year maximum or something. It should be criminal to run a scam like scopely's WWE. Even actual ponzi schemes had better chances of paying out.

It’s good comedy writing that Phil is a victim of essentially the same level of predatory behavior he exhibits on his streams when he feigns financial distress.

I’ve said it before on here but it bears repeating, birds of a feather flock together. Phil attracts this very specific breed of retard fans because Phil is the queen bee retard. He is the Frankenstein’s monster of degeneracy.

I guess it's a fundamental disagreement about how far you believe the law/government's role goes in protecting it's citizens. I understand some people think its very limited, some even to the point of letting the country become a Mad Max wasteland of McDonald's shanty towns, but we're not here to discuss politics, and there's really no other way to approach it so we can just agree to disagree. This shit just made me genuinely feel bad for people like Phil who have no self-control over something so simple.
I don't want the government or anyone else controlling what we do, so yes people should have the right to drink and gamble. However, as long as Phil is begging dentheads for money under the pretext that he's starving/he's going to lose his house/he has a fake lawyer bill, or plumbing emergency that never gets fixed/he owes back taxes (and owes the same "taxes" over and over)/etc., I have no sympathy for him. It's a shame for him and his "wife" he's a bankrupt gacha addict and possibly an alcoholic, but lying and manipulating even bigger losers to support those habits deserves no asspats. If he ever admitted any faults with anything rather than lying and memory-holing those lies, maybe I'll feel bad for him.

you need to disable 2 step verification on psn website.
He doesn't know what that is remember? :story:
Phil has a static IP address restarting the router won't work, but he has a Robust Mature Adult Business Class Internet right? Can't he just call his ISP and request a new IP?
The way Phail tells it, they practically camp on his doorstep to attend to his problems immediately.

On gambling addiction: I think Phil is closer to the vegetative slot machine addicts than the people who get high on the "James Bond lifestyle" casinos offer their high rollers. For the slots addicts, what they're actually addicted to isn't the winning or losing, but that moment of suspense when the reels are spinning and the lights are flashing. They won't even care when the machine barfs up a mountain of quarters, just keep pulling and getting back into the gambling zone. It really is a sad addiction.

The funny thing is I wasn't even what the casino would consider a big spender even with what I was gambling (even though i played in the high rollers section a lot of the time).

There are just super rich dudes throwing their money away at the casino.

Mate that reminds me of the Viscant story. That just shows what a pussy Philip is.

To quote the best "Phil is a pussy story" ever for people that might not know it. Enjoy the long read, it's well worth it.
The TL;DR is Philip wanted to fight a guy and pussied out, begged the bloke behind the scenes to not fuck him up.
The funniest part about that incident is that Jay (Viscant) gave Phil the best possible outcome, because Jay would have beat the living shit out of him. Maybe people know this, or maybe they don't, but despite YouTube videos portraying him as a bullied nerd ever since his beef with LowTierGod, Jay is actually a trained fighter, specifically in mixed martial arts, and has one fuck of a temper. Phil should be lucky that Viscant didn't give him the Judge Dredd treatment and punch through his fucking head.

He only needed it for a day to cry about actual successful streamers.
I heard of this argument but does it really fit with Phil's pattern of behavior? Spending money on a random game for a crazy way to show his bitterness and tell his audience that this video game is not real life? Why not just whine on stream FOR FREE like he usually does?

Kat married Phil for the free room and board - that will always be my assumption as to why she married him. Since she's not getting anything extra in exchange for the torture that is being in his stream, that's never happening again. Plus Phil's never going to invite her back, because he wants to continue maintaining complete and uncontestable control over every single minute of his streams.
Looking at all happening, I think that she is the beard. So yeah she gets to enjoy the house and resources. And doesn't even has to offer much back. And he gets to think that he is a big successful guy while secretly lusting at guys. He ALWAYS goes for the big hairy chested guys...

The whole collecting scene has sadly gone up in price because some asshats who decided to jack the prices up at auctions wanted to be Phil and throw money around. As mentioned previously, Phil is just too lazy/stupid to try and get something like Retroarch set up to play a PS1 game, which surprisingly, would run pretty well on his new laptop that he has probably not updated since he opened the box.

He was desperate to hype up the prestream where he was making a big announcement. Combine it with it having PDP, who he was bitching about at the time and that he announced that he was ignoring his schedule for a stream and he likely picked it for the drama.
