It's real, and it's so blatant of a "media lying for optics" example. You can hear them say "fuck Joe Biden" and then hear the journalist say "well it sounds like they are cheering "lets go Brandon"". Bitch, we have ears, we can hear you lying to our faces.

I think in her case it’s less “lying for optics” and more that broadcast news still falls under FCC regulations and will get fined for swearing. Of all the lying journalists out there, this one was a pretty minor offense.

Actually, for a while prior to 9-11 there had been calls to restrict access to the flight deck while the plane was in-flight due to a rare number of scattered (but fatal) incidents where a passenger pulled (or attempted) a murder-suicide by crashing the plane. But yeah, that put an effective end to any dissenting voices. And for what it's worth, put an end to hijacking too.... every hijacker now knows that the instant they stand up and say "This is a Hijacking" they no longer have 150 hostages, but, 150 would-be murderers out for their blood.

They obviously didn't realize that she's a journalist. Journalists feel entitled to go anywhere they want and demand answers from anyone they want. They think that they can lie, trespass, slander, libel and commit other crimes without ever being held to account. Because they're journalists, and being a journalist means that you think that you are unaccountable (you're so valuable to society, after all!) and should be deliberately held to a different standard, or no standard at all.
