US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Bush Senior puking on the lap of the minister of japan doesn't count?
Even though that is a show of weakness from a US President, at least you could theoretically write it off as a one-time incident. People eat bad food and get food poisoning; it happens.

Biden has seemingly nothing except "bad days."
Just to clarify and point out the kind of asshole Bloomberg is, being mayor for 2 terms isn't a recent development. That was the rule prior to Bloomberg, he in fact argued agaisnt Guiliani around 9/11 that the rule shouldn't be changed when Guiliani felt the circumstances warranted it. Then, due to the 08 crash Bloomberg got an exception written in to ensure he could run and win a third term when it was his turn.
I forgot about that little trickery. Thank you.

Countries been sold out to the highest bidder officially. Fuck this I'm moving to Southeast Asia as soon as possible. I'll be eating some Meekrob and chilling on the beach after managing my sweatshop while you guys eat some bugs. Shit's fucked.

NYC Piece of Intel: On the morning of November 3, 2020 shortly before 5am I left home to head for the gym for an early workout, and walked by a surprisingly long line at my election day precinct for right before 5am (I had already early voted so I didn't need to worry about joining the line.)

Today, November 2, I decide to investigate how long the line is at around 4:45am. Arrived at around 4:48am and stayed until 5:05am. No line, just what I'm assuming were election day workers heading in for work some of them a couple minutes late.

Maybe a couple of the people who walked in right at 5:01am were people coming into vote, but I'm not sure. Either way, the early morning turnout for 2020 Pres was dozens of people forming a long line before 5:00am even hit. For 2021 Mayor, no line at all. Just a quiet street with election day workers heading in for preparation.

If Repub aligned voters have more energy than they did in 2017, it will be the best GOP performance in NYC since Bloomberg's wins

of course, I don't expect Sliwa to win, but he could give Dems another indicator of how things are swinging against them

edit: turns out voting started today at 6am, not 5am; however I do remember seeing a line of dozens already forming before 5am on November 3 last year

12:00PM Update — I decided to stand near the entrance door in order to people watch the voters coming in and out, while eating some indonesian shrimp crackers. It wasn't completely deserted, there was a somewhat regular flow of people, but no lines forming - more like the kind of interspersed bursts of 1 or 2 people together entering like what you'd see while waiting in front of the entrance to a Walgreens. As expected, the people I saw were mainly old and obviously physically infirm more often than not. Some who looked middle aged. Mayyyybe one woman was in the 25-29 range but she was Asian so that's a bit ambiguous. Saw no one who I'd be confident in placing in the 18-24 range, it's possible I didn't see anyone under 35 enter or leave. I was people watching for about 10 minutes before heading back home.

There's no point following the NYC mayoral race. Eric Adam's is going to win. It's a forgone conclusion. He's black, and he's a former police officer. He's got the left and moderate centrist people with him. There is literally no chance Sliwell wins.

You're just buying yourself some time. Its just a matter of time before globohomo takes over the entire earth Good luck.

edit: I know globohomo is already here. But the time will come when its inescapable and forced down your throat.

I went out to vote around 8am, saw only 3 other people there voting, and I was the youngest. It isn't a big/exciting election this year in my district which explains the turnout that I saw. But these propositions we have on this year's ballot are incredibly important, and if passed, they will be used to make us poorer and to "fortify" more elections. I only hope that conservatives in my area get off their ass to vote today.

At least I'll get bug meekrob and bug Waterfall Salad, that's better than bug burger. Also I'll have some cool old ass AK47s. The US is so utterly fucked unless a hitler like figure arises and kills all the bureaucrats, lawyers, and politicians. Everyone who is related to Emanuel Cellar should be skinned alive and doused in salt before being set alight. That's not even to get into the more original shit I'd want done to other powerful people in Roblox.

Sorry to double post but the chinks and americans don't exactly have a great history of success in SEA. There's only so many people who can get impaled with shit smeared spikes before morale wears thin. The only benefit to staying in the US for the collapse is getting the opportunity to smear the brains of fuckers who have messed with your life across the curb.

You know I always thought it was creepy how the dems were able to turn a long term red state like Virginia into a solid blue state. I mean I know California used to be red, but that took longer to turn form red to blue compare to how quick they did it to Virginia
They'll turn everything blue using deception and trickery. I unironically hope they open up a lunar prison colony to mine ice so I can drop fucking asteroids on LA, NYC and SF with the helpful hand of a computer named Mike. At least I'd get a bunch of cute wives in red dresses on the moon, what the fuck does the earth offer me in comparison. Also making a Heinlein novel historical would make me laugh.

They really are like a virus.

Hate 'em or Love 'em, most right leaning people just want to keep to themselves and be left alone.

Left minded people want the entire world to think and feel the exact same way they do. So they vote their states into oblivion, the cost of living becomes unmanageable, then they move into other states, but bring their shit politics with them, and turn those states purple or blue and ultimately ruin them.

For the people getting mad at this/threatening to pull a “I’m moving to Canada” esque move, please try to read on why the decision was made before getting mad. The FEC ruled that it was permissible for foreign nationals and govts to spend money in referendums in states that don’t have laws preventing it because they are not considered elections under federal election law. The FEC can’t really change the law so they have been forced to acknowledge that there is a loophole, and thus, foreigners can currently spend money on some state referendums. Hopefully this is fixed very quickly - a few Reps. have already spoken out against this.
