I'm not weighing in on whether she's legitimately homophobic/racist/etc or not, I just don't personally care for "edgy" either way. Maybe it reminds me too much of my teen years.

Shouldn't need to clarify, but I will: That still doesn't mean I support the attempt to "cancel" her.

Pippa's got side tracked by talking about her neighbors which led into her talking about how she can get out of depression and asking what they do to be happy. I think she's just trying to find something to talk to chat about but now people are giving her money. It's been 3 minutes of this.

Damn she only had the thing for like 2 and a half months (I remember her talking on stream about when she got it in August), how the fuck did it die already.

I hope she goes the fit method, better to be jacked and depressed than unhealthy and depressed.

I'm low-key proud that my comment saying that she can't act hit a nerve.
Pippa has two acting modes:
1: None. Genuine. Why we watch her.
2: Over the top Rich Evans-tier 'bad' bad acting. Also why we watch her.
At this point she could watch paint dry, and we'd be right there with her.

It's possible the pet store sold her a sickly hamster, as that isn't below them no matter what country you're in.

The unfortunate reality is probably just that she hadn't done the research. Hamsters are notoriously demanding pets, but owners are often permitted to own one with little to no knowledge of how to take proper care of one, and pet stores are more than happy to enable them with bad cages, dangerous toys, and no advice.

I'll spare you the details of running off everything that was wrong, but it's not really Rosemi's fault that this is such a dreadfully common occurrence. Apparently she held onto it for two hours thinking it was just hibernating and needed warmth. That shit was really fucking difficult to stomach.


In brighter news, everyone got together to wish Reimu a happy birthday. Pretty much all of them were in the call at the same time (Elira may have dipped before Petra joined I think) so it was a nice opportunity to get a feel for all of them together.

It was a lot more feelsy than these streams usually are but not without its funny moments. Nina was really pleasant to listen to as well. I hope this is the start of Reimu making up some of her lost ground.

Reimu's birthday stream was pretty great, yeah. The big call had the right mixture of toxicity and earnestness that I've come to expect from NijiEN.

They're a monster, not human. I once believed in God but, I stopped when I learned about homosexuality and worse the fucking LBGT movement. It's a complete abomination that flies in the face of nature. It's proof of Mans hubris. God, people like Artemis deserve to be harassed into suicide. I'd throw acid in that troons face if i ever found THAT in my town.

As someone that's seen fandoms in which Twitter spergs cancel random content creators each week, to see nobody give a shit about Kiki being "exposed" is super refreshing.
That's something I've been thinking about for a bit, actually. The main reason Vtubers haven't gotten sucked into the politically correct hellhole is that they're still obscure enough for most of the holier-than-thou 14 year olds to not be interested in them. I can see indies potentially being badgered by them in the future when Vtubers become more popular, but the ones from companies should be fine.
