Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

So, here's something interesting in Buffalo. I've never seen anything like this before.

In the mayor race, a Democratic Socialist woman India B. Walton upset the incumbent mayor Byron Brown in the Dem primary. So Brown decided to launch a fierce "Write in" campaign to keep his job. Somehow it's working, because Brown is winning. There is no Republican candidate.

As anyone ever lost their party's primary and then won the general election anyway? I'm sure it's happened before, but I would think it's rare.

Lisa murkowski

That's a interesting strategy and it apparently is working in this case.

You should stop dooming so much amigo. Skepticism is alright, but constant dooming kills the mood.
Conversely, go actually full doomer and predict THE UTTER DEVESTATION OF ALL PRECINCTS, SUCH THAT THE GIBBERING HORRORS OF THE ELDRITCH MOON WILL YELL "YIKES" IN RESPONSE.

Dont just say the police will be abolished, but all forms of public protections, even condoms.
That way, if you're right, it's hilarious. If you're wrong. No fucking duh.

The question is through is it too late. As in have people already made their minds on the dems
My honest opinion and I stated this to someone who is a disillusioned Dem early tonight is that moderate Dems need to leave the party. I told him that they do not have to join the GOP but they have to leave.

How many times does a spouse have to beat you to the brink of death before you walk away?

I was registered independent for the majority of my life. I switched to republican when I lived in NY because they make you pick a side to vote in primaries not because I believe in the GOP.

We gotta get a new party up in this bitch and it needs real support or we are just masturbating while the world ends.

Well, the real lesson is that ORANGE MAN BAD worked because more people vote for American Idol than for who should govern them and write the laws they live by. Without that reality tv aspect to draw out the mouthbreating retard vote, Dems are down even more than when they lost fucking everywhere in 2020, despite "winning" the presidential race. They can't cheat enough to make up the difference.

Lisa Murkowski lost the GOP primary for Alaska Senator to a challenger, then kept her seat with a successful write-in campaign in 2010.

Exactly, The importance right now is to delay the Democrats, to stall things out until the mid-terms and for the Trumpian populism to flourish. A Trumpian populist getting in power would be nice, but unnecessary in the larger strategy.
tl;dr - use their very tools and hang them upon the golden noose they so desperately wanted, while their delusions sing them sweet nothings as their neck fucking snaps.

Are my ears deceiving me? Pelosi is not running for reelection, Republican won TWO states and the Lincoln Project are being exposed as creeps?

Methinks Clown World is slowly but surely coming to a halt.
My friend.....this is actually not a sign of Clown World coming to a halt, but Clown World choo-chooing full speed into a blazing inferno.

The U.S. electoral system naturally works towards there being two parties. So for a third party position/campaign to be successful, it either needs to take over one of the two parties or one of the two parties needs to completely implode and the refugees coalesce in a new party.

Every year I gain more respect for Ross Perot even though the crazy fucker came up short.

Wow, and that was for Senator too. Never would have guessed that.

There's also Joe Liberman, who ran and won in Conneticut as an Independent.

It'll keep fluctuating like this for the next couple hours probably. My sense of probabilities may be skewed right now but I'd give a 40/60 chance if you just went to bed now that Ciattarelli will have won when you woke up.

it may be.
