I'm still watching the Day 1 Testimony, but reading this thread is like a sneak preview for today's. I'm excited to watch the prosecutor get his shit pushed in by the judge, but there's obviously some concern.

Okay, y'all realize that the livestream footage of the BS that went on in the summer of 2020 wasn't being shown on the evening news, right?
There is an obscenely huge percentage of Americans that genuinely believe that the BLM are the good guys and were 100% peaceful lil' angels.

Yes, everyone is sucking Barnes nuts for some reason

Honestly, I don't think the defense atty is great, but you don't -need- a great defense atty who is objecting constantly, I think that would actually be bad trial strategy, the objections would look like you're trying to hide events from the Jury ect.

You want the Jury to see the candid events, because the candid events show it was self defense

Yes. Because Kyle was there when we watched Rosenbaum getting treatment after he's dead. Or the guy who got his bicep blown off. The stipulation the prosecution used for this video in was to establish the state of mind of the defendant.

You are actually retarded if you think more than 15% of all the video plus audio the jury has seen during this witness' testimony was relevant at all.

Havent been watching live. Why the fuck were people talking about sandwiches? Assuming there were actual sandwiches please tell me they were at least the good stuff from Jersey Mikes or Jimmy Johns and not Subway shit. If I was a witness and a lawyer brought me Subway I'd intentionally torpedo his case.

Remember. The defense doesn't need to dig into every little moment like it's Ace Attorney. They will need to counter claims they make with this evidence, not the evidence itself (unless it' unneeded bs.)

Don't forget that the charges:

First-degree reckless homicide on Rosenbaum.​

-Muddiest in terms of video evidence, but the retreat and prior gunshot helps his case.

First-degree intentional homicide on Huber​

-who was literally on top on him grabbing for his gun. Likely the most unlikely to stick IMO.​

First-degree recklessly endangering safety,​

-will likely be dropped, unless Richard McGinnis and some other guy can show otherwise.​

Attempted first-degree intentional homicide​

-with no follow-up shot? As if.

Possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18​

-most likely to stick, but that's less than a year in prison or a max of 10k.

Don't forget that intent to kill, and disregard for human life must be qualifiers for the big hitters. The defense will have it's turn. Have faith.

I remember that the cops who beat Rodney King got off in part because the defense kept playing over and over again the footage of the cops beating Rodney until the jury was desensitized to the footage and just didn't care. I wonder if Binger is trying something similar by making them watch Kyle shoot people until they just associate Kyle and shooting.

Earlier today the judge called a recess for lunch by saying that lunch had just been delivered and they should break before the jury had to eat cool, soggy sandwiches. We were joking about it. No idea where the food was from.

Break for technical difficulties. Hopefully the defense can get its act together for the rest of today.

i didnt watch the full jury selection. but were the all bleeding hearts?

the " boohoo guy was killed" only works on those types.
