He's just a dipshit. He isn't doing great on the witness examinations but it's standard "not that great lawyer" stuff, it only seems so egregious because we're all so partisan/invested.

It's entirely possible that he has some reasionsble strategic reason to let all those videos in, but I don't know what it is.

The only thing he's done that I think could be a real problem long term is that damned militia video where the guy tells Kyle antifa doesn't want his help.

That swings both ways.

having your small town demolished by a riot is going to effect you emotionally. This isn't a school shooting. this is a killing during the height of the riots. buildings haven't been rebuilt yet and people lost their jobs/businesses. If you're on the jury and you or someone you know has been impacted by the riot, you're not going swing emotionally because someone was killed in the chaos.

Binger's larger strategy is to make it look like Kyle wasn't in danger because "look at all these other people who didn't feel like they were in danger!"

Of course, we all know every comparison he's making is apples to oranges. Some shouting and shoving isn't the same as being chased and accosted.

The nuts and bolts of Binger's case against Kyle suck. Innuendo and scare quotes are all he has.

Yeah, and there's a decent chance that the criminal records of at least skateboard guy and Glock man (maybe just one, id have to listen to opening again) are going to come in at this point, and maybe rosenbalm too depending on what the GF says. If the jury finds out about that shit there is a pretty decent chance they'll just be glad those degenerates aren't terrorizing their community anymore.

I really feel like Binger opened up opportunities to bring that in, and plenty of other issues. That is part of what I find so frustrating about Richards, he just keeps letting these shots slip through his fingers when he has a judge on his side. It's driving me crazy.

But if Richards can find his balls and his brain on only one issue, let it be this. I want the jury to know that Binger intends to jail this kid for ventilating a pedophile, a wife beater, and a felon.

Yeah that was already denied at the pretrial. Binger has to bring up Rosenbaum's past first for Richards to go into it.

Yeah, it might even cause a mistrial. It'd be different if Kyle knew he was, or if he told Kyle he was gonna fuck him or something.

If anyone starts saying he was a good guy though it opens the door to all/some of that shit to rebut it.
