If the feds want to nail him they will prosecute him for election fraud. I don't think anyone is pulling the puppet strings to get him charged on tearing down a cardboard sign when they could easily bleed him dry and keep him in court for years if they decided to drag that twitter voting misinformation thing out.

I think its just as likely they already had the sign thing in file, were maybe waffling on whether to pursue it, he kept making a nuisance of himself, and then the macing came along and had a bit more urgency to it, so they just waited until it was wrapped up to slap him with the sign thing.

To circle it back to everyone's favorite topic of prison rape: Some Arizona cholo wanted to finish off his business before slapping him across the face with his dick, while big burly Jamaluary 6th stands in the corner grinning and stroking himself to readiness for his turn.

Baked is so fucked on his 1/6 charges. He is so far past the point of contrition with everything he has said and done since his arrest. This lady just got 60 days for being inside less than three minutes. Took the plea deal and gave a four page written apology. Probably had excellent legal counsel, given she flew private to the rally.

I pray Baked and his best value attorney take their case all the way to trial. He is playing with so much fire and is too stupid and arrogant to see it. As much as I would love to see him grovel on his knees and beg for forgiveness, I would much rather see him finally stand up for his convictions and go down swinging on a maximum sentence.

I don't believe that a crime should exist that punishes people more harshly than an existing crime does because of alleged motivation. However, he's going to have a hard time fighting this.

Apparently was during Hanukah week. The sign is completely and totally inoffensive (literally just "Happy Chanukah"). The Government will allege that Baked's intentions were to make Jews in the area afraid of conduct their religious festivities and they'll have a good case. In 2018/2019 there was the Pittsburg temple shooting, the LA Temple incident with the security guard, and a shooting in a San Diego temple. The government has a good case to say that Jews are already afraid to go to temple and when people actively deface their fucking cardboard signs that just say "Happy Chanukah" it serves no purpose other than to keep up intimidation.

A 1A argument is hard to go with because it's more about removing someone else's expression vs. creating your own.

Idk I think he's fucked on that. Don't record your vandalism you fucking idiots. Hope the superchats were worth it.

On one hand its just a sign and hate crime laws can be stupid at times. Feels like an incredible waste of resources for something that used to be dealt with by a simple apology and helping the guy out that you've wronged (usually its a kid that would do something like this and the parents would whip them into shape)

On the other its super inoffensive as Null said. Baked is a grown ass man acting like a teenager doing stupid shit to innocent strangers for attention and e bucks. It's not like this is a case of he's young and didn't know better.

How many times have we seen right wing activists complain about sjws taking/wrecking their signs? And a lot of those times those sjws were taken away by security or the police, as all right wingers agree they should be.

Baked just can't stop taking mace to the face. Ever since ANTIFA kicked his ass at Charlottesville its just been one thing after another for him. He should have realized he was on "the list" at that point. But newp. Just go around filming yourself acting like a sped and doing petty criminal shit.

Absolutely, it's insane that he's getting brought up on federal charges for something like this. I think, though, that this is providential payback for all the previous content sprayings and such that he got away with scot-free.

The fact that he outright says "no Happy Hanukah, only Merry Christmas" is probably also relevant - he's basically openly announcing a discriminatory motive
