Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

More money for wall street and more power for tech businesses? Are we seeing any of that happen?
Not on the tech side. While everybody focuses on the social media “big tech” firms because they are the most visible to consumers, the majority of Silicon Valley companies that are profitable or at least are bringing in hundreds of millions or billons in revenue yearly are enterprise software firms. They are hurting because the real world economy affects how companies spend money. And nobody wants to spend money right now. I am sure some rich billionaire tech CEOs are regretting their votes for the senile sniffer too.

And the 1.2 trillion one which was just the absolute bare-bones version with no teeth and nothing worthwhile in it.
I can't believe we're at the point where $1.2 Trillion is a "bare-bones version." What, are we gonna have a bare-bones $2.2 trillion one in 2023? Bitcoin is gonna be $250k a coin before we even get to the next Presidential Primaries ffs.

Tinfoil Hat: They continue to rise gas prices until it forces people to buy electric cars because "muh environment".

Near me within a few weeks they built an electric car recharge station across from one of the supermarkets, and even before that, I found a few of them located at a parking lot in Khols, of all places.
I pointed this out before but there isn't enough lithium in the Earth's crust for everyone to have an electric car. You will either be walking, biking or public transit.

Then again they probably know they are selling snake oil hence why this electric car mandates are ten years out or so.

Basically we will need a multi-pronged approach to the energy crisis. That won't happen as long as progressives dominate the field though.
I am all for anything that prevents city folks from having the capability to exit the cities.

But yeah check this out:

200 miles on a full charge. They do great around a city but the second you get onto an interstate the battery just falls on its face. I would never have one without a backup ICE car.
Electric cars would be great for daily driver cars. Which is what most people's lives consist of.

I had a renewable energy teacher scare me with "peak oil" so I kind of just accepted that the days of "cheaply wandering states in a car" was going to come to an end.
It means in the short term we'll have to hope Manchin and Sinema aren't outdone by Romney, Murkowski, Collins and other RINO senators if you don't want more BS spending.
Now see, that's a good point. Though why all the Manchin drama is strange unless it was "designated villain" trope.

did yall see this? Holy shit he's losing it hard.
He didn't yell at the reporter. He lost a child, talking about it makes him emotional, he's only human.

What I don't understand is what the idea is? If you've lost a child you can go to America legally or illegally and get free shit?

not presidential. nope. Losing your temper because you have a dead son is unacceptable in a leader.

If you think that's somebody losing their temper, then you must have been born in cotton wool and lived in a plastic bubble In a cave all of your life.

Saying this is a bad look because Biden lost his temper is the same as the reeeing twats that moaned everytime Trump opened his gob.

Agree. It was consider unacceptable by the media when Trump would get mad about the Russia investigation (because you know it kind of hurts when people were accused you have being a traitor to your own country despite loving it and calling your family criminals).

It's only fair

...reminder, this pos sent a few Afghan kids to Kingdom Come.
I'm not defending or supporting the guy. I'm just saying that reeing over shit that is easily explained away or debooonked, clouds the real shit that's going on.

Do I care that he raised his voice? No.
Do I want to know more about the family being pedos? Yes.

For all we know, this could well be planted theatrics to get people to talk about THIS and nothing else.

@Gehenna

so with the smaller bill passing house what happens now how will this impact the situation ?
The message of this vote was that progs are over. The uniparty doesn't need them in order to rob the American people, which is the only thing that matters to congress at this stage.
BBB is dead. Pelosi is walking off into the sunset with one final payday instead of humiliated and broken. Trump gets a moral victory, but no scalp.

hows it going APC?

Redistricting update...

Hopefully everyone partied responsibly after the victory this week.

Arkansas has passed it's new map, which took French Hill's Trump leaning 2nd district and shored it up by splitting Pulaski County. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-Cuck) has refused to sign it citing concerns that it doesn't respect minority communities, but, he won't veto it meaning it will pass into law without his signature after a longer period allowing Democrats more time to sue.

Republicans in North Carolina have passed a new map. It is a 10R-3D-1SW map. Democrats are already crying about the VRA, but as a Republican is Chief Justice of NC Supreme Court, he can slow walk the processes to 2022, when the courts narrow Dem majority is up for reelection.

Iowa passed its maps. It's....less than ideal. Iowa redistricting is wonky, with a commission and rules that are heavily parochial. Essentially they shored up one district but it and the two others are still only marginal Trump seats while the fourth is a Republican vote sink. Still, it's better than the commission gave them.

In Alabama, Republicans passed new districts with a least changes map. The black VRA district was expanded as it bleed allot of people. Democrats are suing because the VRA district packs too many (in their opinion) back voters in. While it's nice to Dems admit that the VRA's original purpose is no longer valid ie black candidates can win in the South just fine as long as they aren't tied to a Socially Liberal party, this reeks of sour grapes.

On the horizon, more things loom. Montana's commission looks to be advancing a 2R map, which will be a +1 for the GOP to offset Oregon's new district that Dems gerrymandered themselves. New Mexico Dems are debating whether to go for three Dem seats. Currently the southern NM seat is a Trump +10 seat that they won in 2018 and immediately lost in 2020. Oklahoma has begun it's process, with indications that it will shore up the OKC district Kendra Horn won in 2018 and lost in 2020. In New Hampshire, Republican's have unveiled a bold map that would cede NH 2 in order to solidify NH1 as a GOP district.
California's currently working on their redistricting map (we moved to an 'independent' redistricting commission in 2011 over having the state legislature do it which is the only reason Republican congressmen here still even exist at this point as much as the state Democrats would like to do away with them altogether) and the current drafts look like they're just going to dilute everyone's districts D or R so far. Funniest thing I've seen yet is lumping in NorCal soy central Davis with the rest of blood-red would-be State of Jefferson where it's currently joined to the North Bay Area (and this will likely go from funny to quite worrying in the future if/when it grows large enough to start chipping away at the last bastion of Red California - right now it's still just a jumped-up college town that doesn't have the population to do it yet). Devin Nunes who was probably Trump's biggest ally here is going to be in a much tougher fight since his district is potentially going from R+5 to D+3. The biggest news of course is that California's decay and stagnation means it's going to lose a congressional seat and an electoral vote for the first time in its history.

did yall see this? Holy shit he's losing it hard.
It must feel like shit when they do it to you isnt?

In other news, the winning has stopped for now, you get your bill, but the mandate gets fucked
