Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The really funny part about this "land acknowledgement" is that by listing no less than six different tribes that supposedly lived on the same plot of land taken up by the Redmond Microsoft campus, the lady is subtly implying that said tribes conquered and took the land from each other over the course of history.
Either that or they actually believe that they all lived together in peace and harmony and had drum circles together all day.

@Oxous, it's not just rural white voters: Youngkin won at least one district that was 56% black voters. That's a big story that the MSM will not cover.

Also, no shit the Democrats have basically said for 2 decades or more that only city values matter and now rural voters are going hard Republican? We knew that even when Obama was winning landslides.

The rural PNW is solid MAGA and their internet is too shitty for that vote to get peeled off by the obvious LP and other third party splitter attempts. I would assume it's exactly the same everywhere else country.

Also keep in mind that Colin Kaepernick just released a Netflix show/series/don't care that said that the NFL playing their black athletes millions of dollars is also slavery.
Better to claim that the rich black is oppressed by the working class white and create a never-ending conflict that they can exploit to their own ends.

It's this tweet for me. Genuinely can't believe an American politician would say that.
>get paid more than most people will ever make in their entire lives just for throwing a ball around
>"REEEEEEE THEY SLAVING ME, NIGGAS!"

Suffolk University/USA TODAY have released a new poll.

Biden is at 38%. Not really a surprise, but there are some more fine details worth pointing out.
  • 64% of Americans, including 28% of Democrats, don't want Biden to run for a second term.
  • Kamala's approval ratings are far, far below Biden's. In fact she's at a nice and spicy 🔥28%🔥
  • Those surveyed said that in a generic Congressional race they'd support a Republican candidate 46%-38%, suggesting a +8 advantage to Republicans nationally at the moment.
  • The infrastructure bill which passed Friday night is vastly more popular than Build Back Better. 61% including a third of Republicans surveyed were onboard with that piece of legislation.
  • Only 25% of respondents said they thought Build Back Better would help them and their families. 47% are favorable towards it while 44% are against it.
  • Congress has an approval rating of 12%. For context, Gaddafi had an estimated 10% approval rating in Libya when he was sodomized to death with a bayonet by his own people.
  • If the presidential election were held today, 44% said they would vote Trump, 40% said they would vote Biden and 11% said they would vote for a third party candidate.

perfect example

Republicans are fine with scraps so long as their team wins something. when they don't, it doesn't matter or the other team is angry so it's ok

cuckoldry or a very passive coping mechanism?
Neither - An extremely optimistic take of the Republicans, as I see it, is they understand and accept that when they play the political game, sometimes they win and sometimes they lose. They pick and choose battles and cede ground and once the game has been played to the rules they agreed to, if they lost, they concede.

Compare that to the democrats, who resent the rules of the game entirely at this point, actively work to abuse it to the extent of their ability and then some while its benefitting them, and actively screech and try and burn it all down when someone else is benefitting from it. They don't give two fucks about the game and just want 100% of the power 100% of the time.

Republicans and RINO's have been struggling to adapt to this sudden scorch earthed side to politics, and didn't adjust fast enough. Instead they tried to continue to play the game of "well thats ok we lost this one but there's more in the future, let me shake your hand" - Thats why y'all got Trump, an outsider who stood up and realized that if the game was going to be played this way, he was willing to play it, and it went pretty damned well for him.

An comparison a friend made is that Democrats have pulled out a knife in a street fight, but Republicans still think this fight is gonna play out under official Olympic boxing rules.

I'm sure Gehenna has a better take on this than I do, but thats my optimistic view - They're behind the times. What's concerning to me though is that Democracy only really works under the rules the Republicans are trying to play on - Once you completely lose faith in the system, the power, and the fact that it will be handed around and restricted, the whole thing threatens to burst.

why won't you cuss?! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Not cussing makes it better, cuz then TPTB/journo-scum REEEEEEEING about it makes them look even more stupid, especially compared to all the shit they spewed about Trump (oh I'm sorry, DRUMPF) during his Presidency.

One thing I always heard about the Congress approval stat is that it's ridiculously low when polling about Congress in general, but when you ask about their state's congressmen, it suddenly goes a lot higher (...usually).

They don't say that shit about immigration or anything they want to stop with some barely literate mouth breathing canoe-nigger from Hawaii.
Because this "professor" belongs to one of the aggressors in the new Class Conflict occurring in Western Civilization. Administrative Complex people like him benefit from the flooding of the nation by masses of foreigners that will work for scraps and have no knowledge of or loyalty to the civic values/institutions of the American nation state, as they counter and undermine the power of legacy Americans. They do not benefit from the civic institutions upholding the civic values of the American nation state and protecting the rights of legacy Americans, as it prevents them from lording over others like medieval princes.
