I can easily believe that he had fun writing the book. It was low effort slop, meaning that he never went through the difficult and challenging phases of revision where you take an honest look at what you've written and work to make it better. He was very clearly convinced throughout the whole thing that he was sooo clever and just the hippest guy ever. 100% ego, 0% skill or self-awareness.

If that book is being taught in school, that justifies the immediate defunding of that institution . Even if it's being taught through the lens of what not to do, forcing people to read that drivel is a crime against humanity.
