I mean plus the judge even made damn sure he is not having any BS in his court room. I mean unlike the chauvin trial which was decided the initial video. This trial is media bias from tyt that wants to own the cons by any means necessary vs video and witness testimony. i think if rittenhouse wins, we wont see much rioting in general. the message becomes "fuck around and find out and if you found out its because you fucked around" instead of "fuck around, never find out because the government will punish the people for getting in your way."

I think most people are concerned that such a clear case of self defense is even being tried. Mainly, if he somehow gets convicted it'll have a massively detrimental effect to other self-defense situations in the future.

Wrong! Double Jeopardy does not vary substantially by State. It is the accused constitutional rights. Not subject to local statute. The Jeopardy attaches to the incident or crime. Not the charge. The prosecution cannot go fishing for new charges after losing related to the same event. Generally Jeopardy attaches once the trial begins. Prior to that the Prosecution can withdraw charges with leave to refile later.

I didn't claim double jeopardy varies in the states, simply that dismissals by a judge can be with/without prejudice in some states. A dismissal in a criminal case is considered to be with prejudice in Federal Court, under those rules of procedure. These proceedings are not taking place in a Federal Court. The Wisconsin state criminal law code may very well follow Federal Rules Of Procedure, I don't know because I'm not familiar with it. I also stated charging someone under a different statue for the same crime they were found not guilty of probably is double jeopardy, not that prosecutors haven't tried to.

The defense brought up the tweet/post of Grosskreutz's friend (Jacob in the video), who said that Grosskreutz's 'only regret is that he didn't shoot Kyle right away' and the guy who tweeted that yeeted himself out of the courtroom. The court subpoenaed him regarding the post, so he's presumably gonna have to testify about it some time later. He didn't actually resist arrest or anything, but I think he got spooked that he was gonna be forced to discuss the post and wanted to get out of the court ASAP.

There have been people implying photographing, doxing and violence against the jurors, so they could have some concerns.
