Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Speaking as a right winger that opposes gay marriage for religious reasons, we lost that and we're never getting it back. It's better to take the loss and recognize that we can still work with the LGB (left out the T for obvious reasons) in order to push our agenda. While I disagree with what they do in the bedroom, the real issue is one of class and wasting time squabbling about a battle that's lost while the elite rape the country is stupid.

My problem was with the marriage license to begin with. Those aren’t constitutional at all. There should be a marriage registration, but not license. What right does the government have to give you the permission to marry someone?

The gay marriage thing would have been a non-issue if we just removed that one thing. Then it would have been just a legal technicality you could disagree with, but could ignore so long as it was kept out of your personal life.

I am just so tired of the gaslighting and propping up of this administration by the legacy media. Just so fucking tired.

Just remember that the current supply chain crisis is your fault, and rests upon your shoulders. There's absolutely nothing the government could have done differently to prevent this. It was all your spending.

I love how they dont blame Trump there, but American people instead. As if they are asking for their party to experience bloodbaths in future elections!

LOGH is super old, was only released decades after the fact on a bluray only series set that was super expensive and hard to find and the modern era watered down to pander to the shipper crowd remake anime version hasn't gotten, IIRC, a US release.
Even better, raise awareness and demand for a re-release of the bluray. Now you are an anime savior.
Good lord. I thought to myself, wow, that's too stupid for anybody to get upset at it, but here comes Speaker Pelosi ready to be mad on other people's behalf. It's extremely offensive, yes, but only the ending.

Kamala having a 28% approval rating is hilarious. I never expected her to already replaced Cheney as the most loathed Vice President.
I mean, who is her base, and who is the girlboss woman of color shtick supposed to appeal? I doubt it's black people or Indians, and doubt she's high up on the lists of center-left types either.

While it's a blanket statement and not difficult to 'disprove' by citing specific examples of impoverishment, it's not exactly false either. Someone is buying all the $200k boats to the point that the factories are booked a year out, someone is buying out all the car inventory and raising used market prices, someone is paying 30% over market for houses, and BOOMERS are driving brand new RVs on the interstate (seriously, I've never seen so many RV/Camper rigs as I have this year). The buck may have stopped for some people these past two years, but for others the money's kept pouring in and the stock market is higher than ever. Frankly, Americans on average still have more money than sense.

I don't like fags and a lot of other people don't either. Obergefell was just 5 years ago, granting fag marriage not because people wanted it but because activists hammered it through the supreme court. I see the advantage in a "big tent" approach but don't think it's good to encourage the queers. You could just as easily ignore them. They're not a significant voting block. Just don't insult faggots publicly if you wanna be politic about it. Tranny madness is happening in part because shit like Obergefell was forced through, it's all perversion. "But muh good fags!" is about as good an argument as "But muh good blacks", really it's even worse because being black doesn't have to mean you're a defective human, whereas queers are inherently fucked up (they think the anus is a sex organ).

I think the left's thought process is, "what future elections?"

They act as if they'll never face elections in the future. They think Trump will be in jail, DeSantis will fall to Covid-19, all the Americans who hate them will just magically move on and stop voting.

Much of the left believes that the US will be politically identical to Mexico, with one party winning every presidential election for 100 years. They think people vote against their party because they're not college educated, and that anyone who would vote against them would never have a legitimate reason.

I mean, they believe W. Bush was illegitimately elected and only reelected in the chaos of two wars, and that Trump was only elected because of Facebook and Russia. They really believe if it wasn't for hostile foreign actors, the presidency would have been theirs from 1992 to present.

I honestly think they believe that they are the natural ruling party (A bit like what South Africa and Singapore have) of America and any GOP win is them usurping and taking power illegitimately.

They haven't accepted a loss since what, 1988? Lmao

They constantly sperg about "voting rights" and gerrymandering. If the GOP wins an election that requires anyone to have a government ID, they can spin it as illegitimate. The media will always help them.

I don't agree with half of what my current employer wants, I still do it. I can respect a person for their craft, love the nature of what lets them do it, but still not like them on a personal level. Hell, I personally have a great distaste for Trump, but I respect and admire him for how he interacts with politics.
That's how I feel about Hillary Clinton.

So evidently Representative Ocasio-Cortez responded to Representative Gosar's Attack on Anime Standards by calling him a "collection of wet toothpicks." On the one hand, it's understandable and she has the right to be upset. This is the latest in a long chain of attacks spearheaded by her coworkers, and I'm sure that gets exhausting at the very least, even if they are childish and predicated upon the biggest wet fart of a series so far this decade. On the other hand, what does that even mean? I don't think toothpicks get soft or unusable if they get wet.

It unironically sounds like a stereotypical old people thing. It's weird.

It's an insult that won't insult anyone else or harm marginalized and oppressed people.

It was probably carefully crafted by her PR firm.
