Well, I think a couple of things could happen. First, the outrage over the right to self defense and the constitutional right to be armed is going to cause absolute outrage. I live in an overwhelmingly blue city and I run into liberals who are just as autistic over 2A as any Fudd. Just because the state and City of New York says you can't carry doesn't mean they don't. People can and they do break that law all the time, across all race and ethnic lines. Better to be judged by twelve than buried by six, the feeling goes. Especially now that the city is in chaos.

Second, it will only encourage people who are armed to take out everyone around them; no witnesses left to dispute your claim. People who are sympathetic will refuse to cooperate with authorities. The left wanted mob rule, now they have it, except it's not just their mob anymore, there's another mob, better armed, better trained and absolutely scared and angry, and the other mob is focused on taking them out.

If and when government gets some more conservatives in Congress, I can see the prosecution of the left's Sturmabteilung, if only to keep themselves in power. Once people start taking matters into their own hands, the government isn't a player anymore and they lose the power to dictate and line their pockets. Highly skilled workers already proved they can bring this country to their knees, if they continue with this pandering to woke faggots they actually will.

Which might be the point in all this: taking America out so another world power can have its turn. Don't forget where the funds and training for these so-called "woke" socialists comes from.

Activist judges have always been a thing and fighting like hell was always the only solution. Normies are already fed up with BLM. Reminder that in the US legal system prosecutors are the glue-eaters of the legal profession. They make peanuts and are only prosecutors because they couldn't hack it as actual attornies. They have to have the police and judges themselves helping them to win cases.

Any time I had to deal with a prosecutor they were some of the worst, most amoral people I've ever encountered. They have no problem locking up someone they know that is not only innocent, but also virtuous and good, if they think it will be easy and beneficial to themself to do so
